"Lakas naman ng aircon."

He glanced at me for a second before rolling his eyes and lowered the number of the aircon. We were too quiet inside that I could even hear his breathing. I noticed that he was driving so slow so I faced him this time.

"Pwedeng paki-bilisan?" I raised a brow.

"Can you stop complaining?" He fired back. "Nakikisakay na nga lang."

"Excuse me, magbabayad ako, for your information!" Malditang sabi ko.

"Sino nagsabing tatanggapin ko 'yang bayad mo?" He sarcastically said.

I growled and leaned again, ignoring his presence this time. Nakakainis! Duh! If he knew that his daughter was sick, baka pinalipad niya na 'tong sasakyan.

I bit my lower lip when he started to drive so fast. I don't want to see his face. I noticed that my phone was lowbat. Maybe I could borrow it?

"Is that a powerbank?" I pointed the powerbank.

"Mukha ba?" Pamimilospo niya. "It's too obvious that it's a powerbank."

I chose to hide how annoyed I was.

"Can I borrow?" I pointed the powerbank. "May importante lang talaga akong tatawagan."

"You can have it," he directly said.

I didn't make any complain and immediately got the powerbank. I smiled by myself when I realized it was full charge. Nang umandar ang phone ko, I dialed Lee's number because he was with my daughter.

"Kuya? Are you with Ven-" I stopped when I realized something. "Are you with Sam?"

If I called her Sam, Drix wouldn't think of something. It's too obvious kasi kapag Venice ang sasabihin ko. He might think of anything else.

[Oo kaya bilisan mo. Kanina ka pa hinahanap ng anak mo. Kung makapag-party ka naman akala mo wala kang-] I ended the call because I don't want to hear his sermon.

Good thing it wasn't on speaker so Drix didn't heard anything about it. I heaved a long sigh before looking outside. Hay, first time ko nanaman ulit makasakay sa sasakyan niya. Parang ang bilis lang. All the tragic happened 6 years ago. Still fresh.

I stopped when I realized mali na pala 'yung dinadaanan namin.

"Hey, mali 'yung directions mo," sambit ko kaya napatigil siya sa pagmamaneho.

"Teach me, then." He said without looking at me. "It's almost 5 years, what do you expect?"

"6 years." I corrected.

He made a face before driving again. I taught him the direction so we wouldn't be lost. Madilim pa naman 'yung daan, sira yata 'yung street lights. I left a message on my Kuya so he would know that I'm on my way home.
