"Buongiorno, Italia!"

I smiled as I stepped in Italy again. I kept on looking around. This was my second time here. My lips immediately formed a smile when I saw a young lady waved her hand to me like she knows me.

Mahina akong tumawa nang tumakbo siya papunta sa mga magulang niya. I hate to think that I envy the kid for having a complete and happy family. I know we were complete but I can't say that we were happy.

"Estimated time of arrival, Lucas?" I asked him. Doon kasi kami mananatili sa hotel ni Drix sa Venice.

It's always summer.. in Venice.

"One hour, Maureen." He respectfully said.

Sumandal ako sa kinauupuan ko dahil sa sobrang pagod. Si Lucas lang ang kasama ko ngayon since bukas pa darating ang ibang staffs. Actually, bukas pa sana 'yung date ng pagpunta ko rito but I was too excited and wala na rin naman akong gagawin doon sa Manila.

Drix told me he will go here tomorrow. It made me excited because this is the place where we met each other. Venice, Italy. What a nice place! We're still friends despite of the confession. I still see no reason to stay away from him.

"We're here, Maureen." I was suddenly back to reality when Lucas snapped his fingers infront of me.

He helped me to get down from the car. He was the one who carried my luggage. Lumapit naman ang ilang guards para tulungan siya. I looked up to see the view of his hotel. It was now white, dari pagpunta ko rito grey pa 'yung hotel niya. The name of his hotel caught my attention.

HSV GRAND HOTEL.

He changed the name because last year when I was here, HSV Hotel pa lang 'yung nakalagay. I also realized that it became larger inside. May nag aayos pa ng elevator kasi mukhang sira.

"Lagay mo na lang sa loob tapos pwede ka ng pumunta ng room mo," I pointed my luggage. Pinasok 'yon ni Lucas at sa loob at nagpaalam na sa akin para lumabas.

Isinalampak ko ang katawan ko sa kama dahil sa pagod. I stared at the ceiling, not knowing what to think. I was so bored. Ayoko namang lumabas dahil baka mawala na naman ako. I don't want to meet another man again. Sapat na na si Drix lang 'yung nakahanap sa akin dito.

I opened my phone so that I could text my sister na safe akong nakarating dito sa Italy. I don't want them to get worried. Ang OA pa naman nung Amanda.

maureencj: hey just arrived, here na me sa hotel.

sabjimenez: bat di mo ipatattoo.

aljimenez: lmfao haha.

maureencj: bobo ka sab, ikaw din amanda.

aljimenez: u arrived? Haha that's great, my middle finger salutes u.

sabjimenez: oks lg yan 'te atleast salute pa rin siya sayo.

Natawa ako habang binabasa ang mga message nila. Wala talaga sila kwentang kausap kapag nasa instagram. Actually kahit naman sa personal pero mas wala silang kwenta kapag nasa chat.

I messaged Drix instead.

maureencj: i'm sooo bored.

I bit my little finger when I saw hin typing.
