Chapter 30

"How are you going to tell them?"

I looked at Amanda while she was driving. I wanted to jump, to celebrate.. I was freaking happy that I was pregnant. I knew right away Drix would like this. We were always talking about having another baby because Venice was asking us to give her a sibling.

"I don't know, but let's see." I laughed a bit. "I'll tell my daughter first."

"Nagkaanak ka na't lahat lahat wala pa rin akong nagiging boyfriend, 'no?"

"Ay, aanhin mo 'yung tatay ng anak ko?" Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata.

"It wasn't serious," she rolled her eyes.

"Epal ka kasi!" malakas ko siyang hinampas sa balikat. "Bakit mo jino-jowa ang nakatadhana para sa akin, ha?!"

"Because I'm beautiful," pagmamayabang niya pa.

I faked a cough. Malaki ang ngiti ko nang makauwi kami sa bahay. Sabrina was there, playing with Venice. Nabaling ang tingin niya sa amin ni Amanda. She arched a brow when she saw a piece a paper on my hand.

"Venice, come here." I gestured my hand.

"What, Mommy?" lumapit kaagad siya sa akin. Sumunod naman si Sabrina sa maniya.

"Mommy has a big surprise for you," I bend my knee so we could be on the same level.

Her eyes lightened up, smiling. I squeezed her hand. I glanced at Sabrina but she was also waiting for me to speak again. Ibinigay ko kay Sabrina ang maliit na papel. Her eyes widened and her lips opened in shock. Venice's brows furrowed.

"Mommy's going to have a little baby," I told her. "You will be the best sister sooner."

She jumped out of happiness. She touched my tummy with her little hands, hoping that the baby would kick. I laughed when she pouted because she couldn't feel the baby inside.

"My love, it's still a fetus." Sabi sa kaniya ni Amanda. "It will kick when it's about to go out from your mommy's womb."

"Don't tell Daddy muna, ha?" I pinched her cheeks. "We'll surprise him."

"Mommy, I'm not your baby anymore?" she asked with her small voice.

"You will always be my baby," I told her, smiling. "When this baby comes out, dalawa na kayo 'yung baby ko. Okay ba 'yon?"

She nodded. Tumayo ako at pumunta sa kusina para kumuha ng pagkain ni Venice. Sabrina followed me. She sat on the high chair, looking at me while I was preparing food for my daughter. I got the blender so I could blend avocado for myself.

"Masaya ako para sa 'yo."

I stopped. My lips stretched into smile.

"Ikaw? Wala ka bang planong magkaanak.. or pumasok man lang sa relasyon?" tanong ko habang naghihiwa ng avocado.

"Construction first ako, eh." Tumawa siya.

"Sa dami mong manliligaw wala ka pang sinagot?" hinarap ko siya habang tumatawa.

"Hindi naman nila deserve." she scoffed.
