Chapter 6

"Ate, wait! Anong sabi mo!?"

Habol-habol ko si Amanda just to clear things out. Drix didn't told me anything about this. Kahit si Amanda ay wala rin namang sinabi sa akin na ex niya si Drix. But hindi niya pa naman yata alam na magkakilala kami ni Drix. Si Sab lang ang may alam!

"I swear, we're not dating so why should I stay away from him?" Tanong ko habang sinusundan siya.

"Bakit? Hindi mo ba kayang gawin?"

I stopped for what she asked. I pursed a lips, not knowing what to respond.

"Kaya ko.." I said in a low voice. "It's just that I don't see any reasons to do that.."

"Hindi pa ba sapat na rason 'yung ex-boyfriend ko siya para layuan mo?" She arched a brow.

"Hindi. Bakit? Are you jealous?" I sarcastically asked.

She couldn't even answer my question. Hindi naman talaga sapat na dahilan 'yon para layuan ko si Drix. So what if he's her ex-boyfriend? Bakit parang galit siya sa akin? Maybe my instincts were right? She still loves him. That's it!

"Nag aaway ba kayo?" Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Amanda kay Sabrina na kakababa lang. Siguro kakatapos lang sa ginagawa niyang plates.

"Ask this woman," I glanced at Amanda. "Too bitter, porket nakakasama ko 'yung ex niya, kung ano-ano na agad 'yung iisipin."

"I'm not thinking about anything, Maureen! It's just that I want you to stay away from him because-"

"Because you're jealous!" I cut her off.

We stood up in silence. I didn't want Drix to be the reason why Amanda and I were fighting. Ayokong lalaki ang maging rason kung bakit kami masisira. Drix had his fault, too. He never told me about Amanda. He told me he only had one girlfriend, which was Lori.

"I'n sorry.. I'm sorry, Amanda," I sincerely apologized when I realized what did i just did.

"It's fine. Tama ka naman, e. I'm just too overracting. I'm sorry."

"O, ayan naman pala, e! Akala ko naman pati lalaki pag-aawayan niyo pang dalawa!" Sabrina intervened.

I pouted a lips to prevent myself from laughing when I saw Amanda's reaction. I excused myself so that I could cook for us because it was late in the evening and I'm sure that our helpers were already asleep.

I cooked ham and bacon since the three of us were on our diet. Umupo na lang din sila sa high chair na nasa likod ko habang hinahantay kung kailan maluluto ang niluluto ko. Amanda was bad at cooking and Sabrina was too tired doing her plates so I should be the one to cook for us.

"How did you met?" I asked Amanda without looking at her. I was too busy taking out the ham and bacon inside the fridge.

"He was a fashion model from Italy before. It was a long long time ago noong si Fredrick pa 'yung manager ko," She casually answered.

"Why did you broke up? You cheated? He cheated?" Ganoon palagi 'yung reasons ng break-ups, e. Kung hindi long distance relationship, cheating naman.
