August came to install a new deadbolt, ya know since Regina had skeletonkeys to everyone's houses and could do whatever, whenever she wanted. And it was honestly really shocking to see that lock. I looked up from the paper I was writing to help Emma to get custody of Henry. And how is she supposed to help? August asked and I laughed. Foster system 101, when a person is trying to get custody of a child whether it is theirs or not, they ask the ones who live day to day with these people if they are fit or not. He frowned some. Especially if there is another child living within close quarters with the person in question. He kept frowning. They're gonna ask if Emma is fit to parent, I don't know what wasn't clear about that. No I'm with him on this. It's all the big words you used. I looked at Emma and shrugged before walking out of the apartment.

I was at school playing fake sword fighting with one of the other kids when I noticed Henry yelling at Regina. She looked over in my direction right when the fake wooden sword came down. Without looking I blocked and shoved up, turning and getting the other sword away from the kid. I smirked and then remembered, I was supposed to be Dani. Not Hayes. I gotta go. I said giving the other kid the swords and running inside. Henry! I snapped some and he looked over some. I messed up, I did something I wasn't supposed to know how to do! He frowned some. Regina saw! His eyes went big and I bit my lip. What did you do? I shook my head not sure how to answer that.

Dani! I turned and saw Henry and frowned. Yeah? What's up? Nothing, probably gonna go check the beach, or sit in my tree house, you? Gotta go to Archie's for a session, you wanna get dinner after? I frowned some and he sighed. I feel like I don't know a lot that's been going on with you. Alright, I've kinda been looking for my dad but I don't think he got swept into the curse. He frowned some. Well if you tell me if I was right about who you were, maybe I could help you? I shook my head some. Nah I'm good in the loft apartment. He frowned some. You seem different. Well I'm not exactly Dan- no, since you've been living with Mary Margaret and Emma. I nodded some and shrugged. It's nice having someone who understands the struggles of the foster home. What am I? The adopted home category. He gave me a look. Yeah there's categories. Right. Me muttered and sighed some. Gotta go, appointment. Right, I'll see you later. Bye.

I walked down the sidewalk hands in my pockets when the door behind me to a store opened. Ms. Turner, a word. I turned and saw Gold and sighed. Fine. I walked in and the door closed. The agreement has been struck you can't go back on it. I don't intend to, but what I do want to know is: how? How is it you have suddenly woken up, and remembered your life before the curse? I shook my head some. I'm not sure it just, wore off, I guess. It doesn't just wear off. Well how are you awake? He sighed some. Loop holes can be made dearie. Of course. I muttered and sighed some. I'm looking for someone. Your father I suppose? I nodded and bit my lip. Have you seen him at all? If I had he'd be dead. This isn't a joke. I snapped and he sighed. I haven't seen him, I think he lucked out and didn't get caught in it. I started out the door. I'd be careful, it's dangerous waking up. I looked at him nodding. I know, Regina saw a bit of the old self today. Then you are in trouble dearie. I nodded again.

I sighed some as I walked with Henry as he walked home. So anything on your dad? I shook my head. He's not here. I'm sorry Dan. It's alright, besides he wouldn't know me. Henry made a face but didn't say anything. What do you remember of him? Mainly his smile. I said some and got a bit of a smile. I just remembered some bits and pieces of my life before the curse, but not much about him. He kept frowning. But his smile and laugh. Well when the curse is broken maybe you'll remember more. I nodded as we got on the porch and Regina opened the door. Well I'll see you later Henry. Bye. He said walking inside and then Regina looked at me. Daenerys, a word. Is it about this morning at school? She nodded some and she squinted. How did you know how to do that? I smirked some and crossed my arms. It was just pretend. You. I smirked even more. How?!? What does it matter? You can't do anything to me, because if you do, it'll all point back to you, especially since people still suspect you for the Katherine Nolan case. She made a face. And imagine everyone who'd point to you when a child went missing. You have no idea what you're getting into, you of all people should know- no Regina try anything you like but I always escape it, the dungeon, your castle, your curse. I keep escaping. She swallowed and I smiled. Good evening, Madam mayor. I said before walking away.

I woke up and sat up on the couch when the door closed. Emma? She looked over and I could see she had been crying. Sorry, Dan just go back to sleep. What's wrong? I asked standing up and walking over she shook her head. Nothing. I finished the paper if you wanna read over it. I said giving her an envelope that had the paper in it. She took it and gave a weak smile before walking to the stairs. Emma wait. She turned and I quickly walked up before hugging her. Whoa, kid- thanks for everything. I muttered and felt her hug back. Well what was I gonna do, let you sleep outside? She asked before pulling back and smirking. Good night, Dan. I smiled more and went back to the couch and going back to sleep.

Ok guys so the last three parts so this one and the up coming two aren't going to have flash backs for Hayes, they're gonna take a back seat but they'll be back for chapter two. Also this part was just a bit of a filler cause I didn't want to skip over an Ep. Now here's the saying for the day
