Hayes

I was getting ready for Neal's funeral. I really didn't have a lot of clothes that could be used for a funeral, so I had to make something work. It was hard to pretend to be Dani around Henry, and it bugged me even more being this close to dad, but not being able to do anything, especially not being able to go back and stay with him. But when I was able to, I'd go and hang out with him. I looked up in the mirror at my outfit as I started doing my hair. Emma came up behind me. Here. She said, holding her hand out for the brush. I gave it to her, and she started brushing my hair. How're you doing? She asked and I shrugged. Fine. I said even though I wasn't. Just sorta ready to get this whole witch thing sorted. She nodded some and we both stopped as Henry came out of the bathroom. Dani you forgot your phone. He said handing it to me and I smirked some. Thanks. I said as mom finished braiding my hair. There, you're done. I stood up and looked to the door. I'll see you at the cemetery. I said grabbing my bag that had my book in it. Emma nodded. Alright, just be careful. I will. I said before walking out, and then down to the floor under ours. I went down and knocked on the door to Dad's room. He opened the door and smirked sadly. Hello, Hayes. He said before letting me in. How're you doing? I nodded some. Fine, you? He smirked sadly and nodded. He didn't really answer. This felt all too familiar.

We got there, I saw Demetrius, and a couple of the other boys. I really didn't want to be here. They looked over at me and they started muttering to themselves, and gesturing to me, as I stood by Emma. Someone said a few words about Neal and they started lowering the casket. Everyone started stepping up and putting dirt over the casket. But I couldn't move. I slipped behind Emma somewhat. I looked over at Demetri and he frowned. Go on, say it. So you are awake. I nodded some and he shook his head. When? How? I shook my head. Doesn't matter now. All that does is I'm back, and I'm gonna help destroy that witch. You'll need help. I frowned some at him and he nodded. Come talk to us at Granny's, we'll tell you more.

I got to Granny's, it didn't take long for me to go over to the lost boys. What? I asked and he nodded once at Matt. He grabbed something and held out an amulet. Is that- a lost one amulet, I guess with this curse they made it back over. I took it and frowned some. Trust me, if you are going up against the witch you'll need all the help you can get, they're asking for help from the Merry men. Between us and them we'll be unstoppable. Are you guys sure? They nodded. Bae was one of us, that bitch needs to pay. We stopped talking as Henry walked passed us. I froze as someone laid a hand on my shoulder. Hayes. I looked over at dad and frowned some. I'm going to distract Henry, you help them out if they need it. I nodded some. Be good. Will do. I said before he walked out. My stomach twisted though. I understood this was hard for dad, and Henry. But I still needed my dad. Neal was still my brother. I stepped over to the bar to get a drink refill. Dem came with me. He kept staring at me. What? He shrugged. How's it been since- he gestured to me. Oh you mean since I got my memory back? Well let's see, my brother died. Felix is gone, and- I stopped as the door flew open. I froze as Zelena came in. My condolences. I stood up and faced her. Sorry I missed the funeral, I can never pass up a wake. I felt my hands shaking. I wanted to hurt her. Did I miss the speeches? Shall I give one? Part of me wanted to charge at her. But the other part wanted to just stay put. I mean I am after all, responsible. Emma started charging. If she was going in then I was going in with her. Emma no, to many people will get hurt. Snow said grabbing her, right as Dem grabbed me. Listen to your mother, she's right. Anyone who tries to interfere with my plan will have to deal with the Dark One. Is that all? I muttered as she stepped towards us. Dem grabbed me and pulled me towars the other three or four lost boys in the corner. Why are you so scared? We used to deal with Pan! Pan was one thing this is something else. I rolled my eyes. I guess she was Regina's half sister, and she had some sort of unresolved anger towards her for whatever reason. And I want everyone there to see the Evil Queen lose. My stomach dropped as Dem backed up some, pulling me with him. I don't lose. Regina said and I nodded. For the most part she didn't. And as quickly as she came, she went. I sat there for awhile as they tried to figure out what Regina did to her. I sighed some as Regina left and I stood up. Hayes where are you going? To help Regina. She doesn't want help, obviously. I didn't say, with her. Emma frowned some as I walked out. Hay! I stopped in the archway outside. What, Emma? I asked turning and she shook her head. What do you mean help her but not with her? What Zelena said about being half sister, it stuck out to me. I said looking up over Emma's head. I just- I shook my head. I can help, I just have to be alone. She nodded she wanted to stop me. And I saw that. But she didn't. I shook my head and walked off.
