I got up and got changed. While I was in the bathroom I noticed a mark behind my ear. I frowned as I ran a finger over it. Dani? I opened the door and saw mom she frowned. What? I asked and she blinked some. What're you- I'm returning those books, remember? I asked as I walked to my bed and started putting on my shoes. Dan, I really need you to stay in the room today. I looked up, my eyebrow raised. Why? I'm just worried it won't be safe. Mom, it's a small, quiet town. What could possibly be so dangerous? I mean it. Stay put. She said and I sighed rolling my eyes. Fine. I muttered slightly upset.

The mayor showed up and said she was gonna give us a tour while mom was doing her job. I didn't like how many 'old friends' were just popping up. People mom never talked about. I didn't like the gut feeling I was getting. I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand. I was getting cold sweats. Dan are you ok? Henry asked frowning at me as I sat down. I felt light headed. I don't know, I just got really weird feeling. Well, let me see. Ms. Mills said, before feeling my head. She shook her head. You're clamy, but no fever. You guys go on, I'm gonna just stay here. I said and she frowned. Are you sure? I nodded some. Alright, I'll call your mother and let her know you might be coming down with something. I nodded and she walked out.

Emma

I got off the phone with Regina and sighed. What? Hook asked and I shook my head. Dani is getting sick. Bloody hell. He muttered. She said she'd arrange for Granny to bring her some soup and juice and water and to check on her. Good. He said and I looked at him. The plan will work, she's probably got a little stomach bug or something, and tomorrow will feel better, and then I will take her to the library and get that book. I said and he sighed some. Yeah and if that doesn't work? Hook, she got the book last time and she woke up. I said and he frowned some. What is so important about that book? He shook his head. Not the foggiest idea. He said and I shook my head some. For a pirate, you're terrible at lying.

Dani

Granny had left me tomato soup and a grilled cheese with some apple juice. Apparently mom had told her that was my favorite when I was sick. After I ate, I felt a little better, and I wanted out. I grabbed the two books and my jacket, popped my shoes back on and slipped out. I went to the library and saw the sign.

I looked over down the street. It wasn't too far. I walked down and went in. The bell rang some and I frowned looking around. I started getting mildly dizzy. Like the dizzy feeling I got when I had deja vu. No one was in the store. Hello? I called as I took a couple steps forward. The floor creaked. Oh Dani! I saw Belle and frowned. What brings you in? Oh I saw the sign on the library door. I said sitting the books down. My word, you already finished them? I nodded and she smiled taking them. Well, that was it. I said turning and started walking away. Actually, Dani. I turned and frowned and came over. I was going through  books and I came across one, that, I think you might like. She said pulling out this worn book the size of a small travel art book. I frowned some. It doesn't even have a name anymore. Whoa. I muttered taking it. I started feeling ill again. When should I have it back by? Oh don't worry about it, you can keep it. I frowned some. Since it's condition, I'm retiring it. Oh, well t-thank you. I said wiping my forehead. Are you alright? Yeah just a little warm, thank you so much for the book. I said before walking off and back to the room.

I had been reading the book. It had very long chapters but only had ten. This was Mt second read through. The way chapter ten ended was the main character ended up leaving their realm with two others to escape impending doom of a curse. I started feeling really, really bad again so I closed the book and laid down.

I was back in the woods, I kept hearing the voice. Show yourself! I snapped and I was met with a tall figure. They had a medieval era robe on, and the hood that was up covered his face. Who are you? I know you. The man said he stepped up taking his hood down. I thought, I lost you forever. He said putting a hand on my cheek. I should have known, for someone like you, death is not permanent. Who- I prayed to the gods to bring you back and here you are, my Daenerys. I should have been scared but something felt different. I wasn't scared.

Emma

Gold was alive. I frowned as my phone buzzed. Its Henry. I answered and he was panicking. Calm down what do you mean Dani is just gone?!? Ok you know what relax I have a text from her, she uh felt a little better and went to get some fresh air. He relaxed some and I hung up. Did she actually text you? No. I said as we walked out of the cellar. She was dead asleep when I dropped Henry off. Regina said and I nodded some and looked at Hook. When she was sick what was her magic like? He laughed shaking his head. I'm gonna say not good. Spread out stay in pairs.

It took a little bit. We were on the beach. I never had this problem in New York. He laughed some. No I suppose not, I've had that problem since day one. Did her brother not have magic? He shook his head. No, he was pretty normal. Swan, there, by the log. We took off and slid to our knees. She was just laying next to the log asleep. The book I her hand. Hook, she has the book. Which means she did in fact leave. But she didn't tell me. She must've transported here in her sleep. He said and I nodded some. He went to pick her up but she woke up and started panicking. Hey, relax. I said and she frowned. Regina gave you some cold medicine, she didn't know that certain types give you problems. She tried to stand up but couldn't she was pretty out of it. Killian is gonna carry you back ok? She nodded before falling back asleep. He sighed looking at me some before scooping her up and standing.

One thing was clear. Hayes was trying to break out. And this town, was doing something strange to Dani. I wasn't sure how long it'd be, before Hayes finally made it out but I had a feeling it wasn't going to be exactly pretty when she did.
