*noticeable time skip*

The doorbell rings suddenly, making me smile to myself. Of course she rings the bell, even if I told her the door is open.

I run down the stairs making my mum and sister groan. "Could you run any faster? Or louder?" My sister teases.

My mum laughs with her, making me roll my eyes at them. She smiles as I approach the door. "You must really like this girl."

"You've known this girl for a year." I dead-pan, opening the door and pulling her into an embrace. "Hi, Cassia," I say into her hair. "Can we go before my mother and sister bother us even more?"

"Well she wasn't your girlfriend for a year and now she is!" My mum yells out happily, clearly not knowing that Cassia could hear her.

Cassia bursts out laughing, raising her voice. "Did he say I was his girlfriend?" She jokes.

I pull her outside by her waist. "We're going!" I yell to my mum, going before she can tease us further.

Cassia turns to me. "I'm not your girlfriend."

I drop a kiss to her neck, making her shiver. "Wanna retract that statement?" I say slowly.

She shakes her head and I move to kiss her jaw. She leans her head back and stares up at me. "Stop kissing me, I'm not your girlfriend." She laughs.

"Shut up." I reply, spinning her around and slamming my lips against her. "Can you be my girlfriend now?"

"Not willingly." She says, dropping her arms from around my neck to drop beside her. "Fine." She says, rising on her toes, kissing me quick and hard. I grin as her phone buzzes. "Shit, we're going to be late."

"Okay." I grab her hand. "Let's go."

I know that this is going to be really hard for her. I know that she feels beyond guilty. So I look at her now, happy and peaceful. I watch her walk and my brain seems to fall in love with her all over again.
