Season 1 - Episode 6: Safely...

"Y/N!"

You looked over and saw your aunt running over to you with open arms, through the numerous police vehicles. You ran into her arms and rested your head on her shoulder. You felt a feeling of relief and safety as you were in Amy's arms. Your uncle stood by your aunt as well.

"What happened, sweetie?.." Amy asked as she stroked your hair gently while hugging you. You felt your eyes fill up with tears. "I-I don't know.. I just- woke up.. And Dad was missing.." You sniffled. Amy looked to Jake, worried. They then looked back at you.

"Do you want to talk about it back at the precinct?" Jake asked with a comforting voice. "I don't think she wants to talk about it at all, Jake." Your aunt replied to her husband, making him look over to her. He looked back at you and saw you peeking out from your aunt's shoulder.

You shook your head.

You hid your face in your aunt's shoulder again, tears running down your cheeks every now and then. Jake and Amy sighed. They weren't only worried about you, but they were obviously worried for your dad as well. Who knows where he could be?

You were at the precinct, sitting at your desk, running your hands through your hair with tears in your eyes. The stress flooded your brain. A lot of thoughts were going through your head at once, making you start to have a headache.

You were that stressed, you didn't even notice the person walking over to you.

You felt a tap on your shoulder and looked up to see Jayden sitting on the chair next to your desk. He looked at you with a sympathetic look on his face. You felt tears starting to fill up your eyes again. He then placed a Starbucks coffee cup next to you.

"I got you some coffee.." Jayden said, trying to lighten up the mood. You looked at the coffee cup and sighed. You took a small sip out of it and placed it back on your desk, smiling a tiny bit. You then looked over to Jayden and smiled a bit more.

"Thanks.." You said to him, making him smile back at you. "No worries.." Jayden replied. You looked at him and he looked back at you with a reassuring smile. Even though Jayden was there, the thoughts were still there. They made the tears come back into your eyes.

Jayden's smile slowly faded away as he saw tears form in your eyes. He had a very worried and sympathetic feeling. He looked down and thought about what he should to comfort you and possibly, make you stop crying.. for now, at least.

He made his decision.

Jayden went over to you and hesitantly embraced you. You froze in slight shock. But eventually, you hugged him back. You melted into the hug, resting your head on his shoulder as the tears slowly flowed from your eyes. Jayden felt you crying on his shoulder. He then began to whisper comforting words in your ear.

"It's okay.. You're okay.." Jayden whispered, rubbing your back slightly. You sniffled slightly, tears flowing even slower than before. You started to feel calmer as Jayden whispered the comforting words in your ear.

After a few minutes, You finally stopped crying. Even though you sniffled every now and then, you still managed to stop crying.

You somehow felt safe in Jayden's arms. Sure, you felt safe in your dad's, aunt's and uncle's arms but the feeling that you got from Jayden was... different. It made your stomach have butterflies. The feeling that Jayden made you... happy.

Jake walked out of the briefing room with some files and stopped as soon as he saw you and Jayden. Amy saw him and walked over to Jake with some files. As soon as she began to speak, Jake shushed her and pointed over to you, hugging Jayden. She looked over to you, gasped slightly and smiled.

"Hey Jake!- what are you guys looking at?-" Charles asked before being shushed by both your aunt and uncle. Jake pointed over to you and Jayden and Charles looked over. He then gasped, before being shushed by Jake, Amy, Rosa, Gina and Terry.

"I'm sorry!" Charles whisper yelled. He looked over to you and Jayden again. "Are they together?" Gina asked, still whispering. "If they were together, then me and Jake would already know.." Amy replied quietly.

After a few seconds, You and Jayden pulled away from the hug and looked at each other, smiling. You both heard an "Awww" and looked over to where the sound was coming from. You both saw Jake, Amy, Charles, Rosa, Gina and Terry looking at you with smiles on there faces.

"What?" You snapped. Everyone looked at Jayden then back at you. "Oh my gosh.. We aren't dating!" You protested, making the group seperate and head back to work. You sighed and looked back to Jayden. "Sorry about that.." You apologised. Jayden chuckled and blushed slightly, "It's okay".

You both looked at each other smiling before being interrupted by Terry telling everyone to report to the briefing room. You looked at each other and nodded. You both then began heading to the briefing room together.

Jake, Amy and Charles watched you and Jayden as you both headed to the briefing room together. "Perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before.." Charles smirked. Jake chuckled as Charles quoted Beauty and The Beast and nodded,

"There may be something there that wasn't there before..."
