"G'morning, everyone."

You greeted your colleagues, only to find out they weren't there. You frowned, confused. You walked over to the shared desk you had with Jayden. "Good morning, Y/N!- Woah what's with the expression?" Jayden asked as he greeted you. You looked to him.

"Oh! Good morning, Jayden. I was just wondering where the hell everyone else went." You replied. The both of you looked around the bullpen for your fellow detectives. "I think they're having a meeting in the briefing room?" He suggested, looking towards the briefing room. You looked in the same direction.

"Well, shouldn't we be there?" You turned back to Jayden. "I don't think so. They said it was for other reasons that the both of us don't need to worry about." He shrugged and looked back at you. You hummed in response, suspicious of what the other detectives could be doing.

"Anyways, wanna make hot cocoa?" Jayden suggested. "Sure!" You smiled.

Everyone else was gathered in the briefing room, talking about different things. Then the MTA Police came in, singing... unfortunately beautifully.

"Who are these golden-throated dorks again?" Gina asked. "The Metropolitan Transit Authority." One of them, most likely the leader, responded. "I assume you've climbed out of your rat tunnels to taunt us about tonight's carolling competition once again?" Captain Holt asked bluntly.

"No, No, No, of course not! We're here to wish you luck, since every year we.."

"Kick.."

"Your.."

"Butts!~"

They sung, making everyone in the briefing room roll their eyes. The MTA singers mocked the Detectives every single year before the carolling competition. Everyone hated these people, mostly because they showed off their talent so much that it was so sickening.

"Enough. You may have bested us before, But throttle back your ambitions." Holt snapped. "Our voices are.." Holt signalled everyone to sing and everyone sang.. Unfortunately, very horrible. But they tried to stay confident so they can get the MTA to leave them alone.

"That was terrible. I hope you're more prepared tonight, or else we'll have to file a missing persons report. First name: "Your.", Last name: "Dignity"." The leader threatened with sass. Everyone glared at them."Come on, crew, let's hit the rails and buses. Both great ways to get around the city." He snapped... literally.

"I hate that we lose to those pasty-assed mole people every year!-" Terry complained. "As I said last year, There's no point in mincing your words." Holt interrupted Terry then turned to the rest of the Nine-Nine. "They're knaves!" Holt stormed. Gina gasped, "Captain! You kiss Kevin with that mouth?!".

"You bet I do. And tonight, I'm gonna sing with it." Holt replied. "We're taking down the MTA!" He cheered.

"Okay let's review our simple harmonies. When I point at you, hit your note."

Holt pointed to Scully and He hit his note. He then pointed at Terry, then Rosa, then Amy and Gina, then Jake and then Charles. Holt gestured them to keep singing and then stopped. He then sighed and thought about what to say.

"Okay. That was horrible." Holt admitted bluntly. "Because I didn't get a chance to rap!" Hitchcock called out. He then started rapping and was stopped by Jake immediately. "No, Hitchcock, there's no rapping." Jake scolded him. Hitchcock frowned and stayed quiet.

"Maybe we just need to practise more. I, for one, felt like I was a teeny bit off." Amy chimed in. "Don't fool yourself, Santiago. You were the most off of everyone." Holt replied honestly and bluntly. Then Gina sighed and rolled his eyes. She stepped forward as well.
