Season 3 - Episode 7: Here to Help

"Y/N M/N Santiago, you better have a valid reason to why you're here."

"I'm here to help you!" You responded. "Y/N, I already have help! I have the help of other detectives! Which is why Shaun is my case partner." Jayden pointed out. "Okay, first of all, Nice to meet you Shaun." You looked to the other detective. "Nice to meet you too, Detective Santiago." Shaun smiled and you smiled back.

"Second, What the fuck, are you replacing me?!" You shouted at Jayden, looking to him while pretending to be mad. Jayden sighed, "You talked to him yesterday. Plus, you weren't even here. You weren't supposed to be here anyways." He pointed out.

"Oh yeah, I knew that." You responded to him, returning to your original mood, smirking a bit.

"Anyways, Y/N, I'm calling your dad and Captain Holt. You should go home." Jayden said as he began to reach for his phone.

"No, no, no, wait!" You called out, making Jayden stop and look to you. "What?" Jayden questioned.

"Jayden, I'm here to help you guys. Look, I felt guilty that you had to pay for what my dad did to the Howards'. So if I couldn't make you let me complete the case by myself, then I'd just help you!" You explained to your best friend.

"Plus, I'm kinda broke after booking my flight and hotel..." You pointed out. Jayden let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head.

"Okay. You can stay." Jayden sighed, looking to you. "And?..." You said, wanting him to continue. "What? I'm giving you a lot here, Y/N!" Jayden responded. He then realised and sighed. "Fine. I won't tell anyone at the Nine-Nine." He continued, making you smile.

"You're lucky I lo- I mean, you're my best friend. Because I wouldn't be doing this for you." Jayden said sternly.

"I'm just glad you're doing this." You grinned, making him smile.

"Anyways uh.." You said before going and hugging Jayden. He froze for a second. "Thank you so much.. I promise I'll make it up to you." You smiled as you hugged him. He sighed and smiled before hugging you back, "Alright. You're welcome." He responded.

"I. SHIP. IT." Shaun cheered, making you blush hardly. "Shaun, shut the fuck up." Jayden said in a stern tone while blushing and giving Shaun a death stare. Shaun rolled his eyes, smirking.

"I'm gonna come up with your ship name, plan your dates AND wedding." Shaun bubbled happily before skipping out of the room.

"SHAUN, I SWEAR TO GOD-" Jayden called out, before pulling away from the hug.

"Jayden, calm down." You chuckled, still blushing. "Okay, Okay. I'm sorry." Jayden turned back to you. "And I'm sorry about him." He pointed his thumb in the direction Shaun skipped in. "It's fine, don't worry." You giggled. "Okay, Okay. Good." Jayden smiled, looking at you.

The two of you stood in awkward silence before Jayden spoke up.

"So, the Nine-Nine doesn't know yet, right?" Jayden asked you. "Well, technically they didn't. But now they do." You explained, making Jayden's jaw drop.

"Yup, I left a note." You continued. Jayden shook his head a bit and crossed his arms. "Oh my goodness.. How do you think they're going to react?" Jayden questioned, making you sigh.

"I don't know..."
