Jayden sat at his desk, thinking about the theory.

It was very suspicious that both Ian and Arthur had private conversations every hour or so. So that's definitely something that will support Jayden's theory. But that's not enough. And getting more evidence would be a lot more difficult.

But it's still worth a shot.

"Jayden?" Jake said, making Jayden turn to him. "Yeah?" Jayden replied. "You've been staring at your keyboard for five whole minutes. Are you okay?" Jake questioned, slightly concerned. "Oh! I'm fine. Don't worry." Jayden reassured him, making Jake tilt his head. "Are you sure? Are you still thinking about her?" Jake asked, suspicious. "Who? My ex Eleanor or...?" Jayden asked, making Jake shake his head. "No. Y/N." Jake responded.

"N-No, of course not! I've gotten over her..." Jayden stuttered.

Jake raised an eyebrow, "You sure?" He asked, suspicious. Jayden nodded, earning a sigh from Jake. "If you say so." He said before walking away. Jayden looked down and thought for a second. Why was he doing this in the first place?

Well, maybe it could be because of his jealous feeling of Ian. Or he could just be really bored of the case that he was provided with in the first place, which is very unlikely so that's not true. But what if it's because he still loves you? Well he did say he was over you, so it must be true...

Right?

Anyways, back to the ACTUAL problem here.

Since Jayden did work with Arthur a few times, it gave him the chance to become more observant of his actions. Most of the time, Arthur was a pretty chill and nice guy. But he was acting suspicious around Ian. Well, with Ian.

Ian and Jayden didn't hang out with each other a lot. Most of the time, they just talked about cases and what-not. Plus, Ian was really nice to everyone as well. And he was very charming and talented too. You wouldn't be able to find anything wrong with him if you could.

At this point, Jayden couldn't find any other evidence to support his theory. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to continue trying to find some. It was like he just wanted to give up on it and move on with the ACTUAL case at hand.

Jayden stood up from his desk chair and headed to his locker to get his things. It was pretty late and he was tired. He decided he wanted to have a fresh start tomorrow. Leaving all his thoughts about his theory in the past.

He walked up to his locker and unlocked it, grabbing his bag and other belongings. While he was gathering his belongings, he heard some talking coming from the janitor's closet. It sounded like Ian and Arthur...

"Come on, man! Just break up with her now." One of them said.

"I can't! She's been through too much already." The other retorted. It definitely was Ian and Arthur.

"Dude, If you really love her than it's better for you to break up with her. You're already putting her and her family into enough danger!" Arthur reasoned.

"Then I'll keep her safe!" Ian replied. Damn, he really loved his girlfriend.

"But what if he finds out? He would literally kill her AND you." Arthur questioned.

"He won't find out. Nobody else in the gang will find out unless we keep our mouths shut." Ian replied.

Bingo.

That was it. That's the evidence Jayden was looking for. Jayden smiled to himself because of his success.

Now all he had to do was find more evidence.

And he was going to need some help...
