Felix rushed out of his chambers. When he had come back from the kitchens with some light dinner for the boy there was no sign of him. He had searched in all his private rooms but he couldn't find the maid.

He was panicking that something bad might have happened to him. He didn't think his mother would do something as cruel as kidnapping the boy and getting rid of him but he was genuinely worried about him.

Running down the hall he bumped into his older brother who was on his way to his chambers. The first prince raised a brow at Felix's urgency.

"Minho, have you seen a short adorable boy on your way here?" he panted.

The older frowned.

"Are you talking about Changbin?"

Felix's eyes lit up at the mention of the boy's name.

"Yes, Changbin. Have you seen him?"

"No, I haven't," Minho responded. He watched as his brother's face morphed into dread. "What's going on between you two? Did you finally take responsibility and confessed to being the father?"

"Ye- wait," Felix gasped hearing Minho's words. "What do you mean by finally?"

His brother shot him a judging look. "It wasn't hard to add things up. Changbin is two months pregnant. Of course, it's your child although I'm surprised my little brother actually did this to the poor boy."

The younger was genuinely perplexed. "What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Lix. Quit joking. You've announced that the baby Changbin is carrying is yours barely a few hours ago and now you are playing dumb," Minho scoffed.

"I did say that it's my child but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard how the staff made fun of him and bully him. I thought this way he would be safe. I don't know who the father is. He didn't tell me," Felix admitted.

Minho widened his eyes and stared at the boy in disbelief. "You don't remember?"

"Remember what?" Felix retorted feeling lost in what was the older implying.

"During the engagement feast, you've got drunk and told mother that you feel unwell. She called for someone to escort you to your chambers. You picked Changbin to do it. I was worried about you since I knew how devastated you were about the whole engagement thing and after a few more chats and toasts I excused myself and followed you. I saw the boy walk out of your bedroom wobbly and although I don't know the details it was crystal clear what happened between you two that night," Minho recounted. "Holy fuck, Felix. Don't tell me you didn't remember it?"

The younger's knees gave in underneath him and he had to support himself on a nearby wall. His head was spinning with thousands of thoughts.

"I- I didn't. That night was a blur. I remember drinking lots and that's all I can recall. But how can you be sure we did it? Changbin never told me anything. He doesn't even treat me like a friend anymore. If I was the father then why didn't he tell me that?"

"Felix, I'm not sure if you are fully aware of your situation. You are engaged. Maybe he decided to keep it a secret because he thought that it was a drunk mistake," Minho explained. He stepped closer to his younger brother and patted his shoulder.  "You need to talk to him. I might be wrong but I don't think it's a coincidence."

The two suddenly heard someone closing in and whipped their heads towards the sound meeting their mother's stoic face.

"Mother," they greeted her in unison.

She lifted the corners of her lips almost invisibly and turned to the younger prince.

"Felix, pack your things. You are going to the Central Kingdom tomorrow morning."
