Changbin was in the middle of an argument with his mother over wanting to do the house chores when someone knocked on the door.

"I'll get that," his mom said already leaving the living room.

The boy huffed and crossed his arms. "I could at least open the door. It's not like I'm ill," he pouted.

Changbin's eyes widened in shock. She came back with a person he didn't expect at all to visit him.

"Honey, your friend is he-"

"Your Highness! What are you doing here?" Changbin cut her off with a panicked bow.

Puzzled, the mom looked between the two and slowly retreated her hand that was resting on the stranger's back in a welcoming manner.

"Oh, my dear lord! I am so sorry, Your Highness! I didn't recognize you at first. Please forgive my rudeness," the woman bowed deeply to him but he quickly motioned for her to rise.

"N-no, please, don't! Just Jisung is fine. I am Changbin's friend. Please treat me as one instead of someone from a royal family," the boy panicked.

She nodded and flashed him the brightest smile. "In that case, please make yourself home, Jisung. I'll bring some tea," she chuckled and left the two.

Changbin blushed and tugged on the hem of his shirt shyly. "May I know the reason why are you here?" he muttered.

The blue-haired boy scoffed playfully. "Come on hyung. Cut the polite speech. Treat me as a dongsaeng," he paused and watched the latter give him a small nod. "I told you I would do some check-ups for you if you wanted. I heard from Minho that you had gone home so I decided to visit you and make sure you were all right," he explained with a soft smile adorning his plump lips.

Changbin gasped. "You traveled all the way here alone? For me?"

The prince chuckled at his unfiltered reaction. "Yes, I came here for you but not alone. I wanted to come with Minho but he's been busy since his brother went away to a different kingdom. I took my older brother with me. He stopped by the market but he should be here soon," he explained. "Oh, of course, if you don't mind him here. I could tell him to wait in an inn," he added briskly.

Changbin stared at him for a moment longer. Another prince? Here? What am I? A Cinderella?

"Of course I don't mind!" he replied a little too sudden making his mother flinch and almost drop the cups.

"Changbin!" she scolded.

"Sorry," he pouted.

"Miss? Would it be okay if my older brother stopped by?" Jisung asked the woman.

She put the tea and cinnamon rolls on the table and stretched her lips in a warm smile. "Of course, darling. Anyone is welcome here."

"The baby is as healthy as a horse. It also has got a bit bigger since the last time I saw you. Both of you are in great shape. The only thing I would recommend you is to eat more iron-containing articles like beans, beetroots, broccoli, and egg yolk. It's common for pregnant people to have an iron deficiency if they don't consume more of it than they would normally do," the prince explained once he wrapped up the check-up.

Changbin nodded and thanked him for the advice. He was glad that the baby was growing healthy. He was nearly three months pregnant which meant his belly would get noticeable soon. He wasn't worried about it anymore though.

After packing his medical equipment, Jisung sat down next to him and took a bite of the fresh cinnamon bun humming in delight.

Changbin chuckled seeing his round cheeks stuffed with the homemade pastry. Although he had known the prince for a short time he already perceived him as a close friend.

They chatted for a few more minutes till the knock on the interrupted them.

"Oh, it must be my brother," Jisung clapped happily.

Changbin stood up to open the door but his mom beat him to it.

"Hello, darling. You must be Jisung's brother. Come in!" she greeted and lead him inside.

The prince entered the living room and Changbin immediately turned to greet him as well; the sight left his mouth hanging open.

Similar to his brother, the prince had cobalt blue hair but his was curly and his skin was the color of honey. He had tiny freckles spread across his cheeks and dimples. He was also much taller and fitter than Jisung. All in all, the royalty was beautiful.

He flashed them an eye-reaching smile and bowed politely.

"Good afternoon, my name is Chan. I am the first prince of the Han dynasty and a brother to the short troublemaker over here. Nice to meet you miss Seo and Changbin."
