Changbin sighed dramatically. He was sick and tired of doing nothing. Looking at the castle staff working, he felt completely useless. Of course, Felix and even the queen had forbidden him from executing his maid tasks as he was no longer a servant but sitting around was driving him mad. He knew everyone, especially his fiancé, was concerned about his and the baby's safety but he was sure some simpler tasks would be fine.

Despite it, there was no point in fighting about it, so the best he could do was to at least take care of his own self and not burden the other staff unless it was necessary.

The boy glanced at his round belly and stroked it gently through the fabrics of one of the prince's dress shirts, he had 'stolen' from him. Felix had left earlier in the morning to fulfil his prince's duties, which left him all alone and bored to death.

"Mommy is a little grumpy today, aren't I? I should probably be more grateful but I'm so bored. Aren't you bored too, little one? Shall we go for a walk?" he spoke softly to the baby. According to Jisung, it should be able to hear him by now.

Changbin thought for a second before making up his mind. He decided fresh air and sun rays would be good for him. He entered the walk-in wardrobe and snatched one of Felix's outer robes. He loved the scent of his lover. It made him feel safe. He left his and Felix's chambers and skipped down the hall. He was excited to go to the gardens.

Changbin rushed out and smiled widely. The afternoon sun greeted him with a warm kiss of Autumn sunrays. He glanced around the vast fields of green thinking where to go first. Eventually, he chose the orchards.

Changbin strolled through the greenery taking in the beauty of rose bushes along the way. Once he arrived in the orchards, a sweet smell of apples and pears engulfed him. A bright red apple caught his eye. He tried to reach it but even though it was on the lowest branch his fingers barely brushed it.

Determined to get the fruit, Changbin stood on his tippy toes, his tongue sticking out. A pout formed on his lips when his second attempt failed. Suddenly a hand from behind him reached for the apple and plucked it effortlessly.

Changbin gasped in surprise and turned around. A tall boy in gardening attire smiled at him apologetically and bowed.

"My apologies, young master. I didn't mean to scare you," he explained politely. He outstretched his hand with the apple in it and smiled softly. "Here."

Changbin blushed, his cheeks turned as red as the apple he took from the stranger. "T-thank you. You don't need to be formal with me. I'm not royalty," he mumbled sheepishly.

The boy chuckled. "Of course you are! You are prince Felix's fiancé."

Changbin couldn't help but smile. "I may be his fiancé but I'm not of royal blood. If you bow to me, I'll bow to you."

The boy's eyes crinkled in amusement.

Changbin peeked at his clothes and a pair of shears.

"Are you a gardener?" he asked curiously. Since he had worked mainly in the castle, he never met the boy.

"Yes. My name is Seungmin. It's a pleasure to meet you," he replied.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Changbin," the shorter smiled back.

Suddenly, a familiar voice called out his name and soon the Han prince joined them. Changbin waved at him, while Seungmin bowed politely.

Jisung smiled at both before turning to address the shorter. "I was looking for you. Can we talk?"

Hi, hello! 💙

I didn't plan to update the book since I simply didn't have the time to but I woke up earlier and couldn't fall asleep. I hope you liked it.

I don't know how it works but I chose to call Changbin 'young master' since he isn't royalty (or not married to one yet). Also, I want to correct my mistake: fiancé is masculine and fianceé is feminine. I think I mixed it up in some chapters, sorry.

As always thank you for reading and supporting my book. Don't forget to vote and comment.

Have a lovely day/night. 👑
