Changbin let out a bubbly giggle. The way the dressmaker was taking his measurements was ticklish. He had talked with the prince about Jisung's idea and they eventually agreed to hold their wedding the same day as the two.

At first, the boy was scared to be surrounded by all the strangers, who were the dressmaker and her two assistants, but as the royal tradition required: Felix couldn't accompany him during the wedding-dress preparation process.

"My apologies, young master, but I have to ask of you to take off your upper garments. The measurements have to be as precise as possible," the dressmaker asked with an apologetic smile seeing the boy tense.

Changbin peeked at his 3 months big baby bump and blushed. "Of course, give me a second," the boy replied and began fiddling with the buttons of, yet another, dress shirt he had borrowed from his fiancé. The dressmaker bowed politely and gave him some privacy, whereas one of the assistants stepped forward offering her help.

Changbin's face turned even redder but he didn't want to make the visibly young girl feel useless, so he overcame his abashment and graced her with a small smile.

"What's your name?"

The girl lifted her head shyly.

"I'm Hyunbin, young master."

Changbin chuckled. The girl's name suited her well. She had long orange tresses tucked behind her, now red, ears, that gave her a cute look.

"You have a beautiful name. Would you mind helping me with the shirt cuffs?" he asked softly.

The girl nodded with a happy sparkle in her eyes and proceeded to help the boy.

"Young master is really pretty. You look cute with the baby bump," as if sensing his previous uneasiness, she giggled but instantly shut her mouth remembering to whom she was speaking. "I'm so-"

"It's fine," Changbin whispered unable to speak up from the embarrassment. His cheeks were nearly as vivid as Hyunbin's hair colour. "Thank you for the compliment," he said and smiled reassuringly. Her facial expression softened and they got back to measuring.

Felix entered the kitchens making everyone stop what they were doing and greet the prince with a 90° degree bow. He smiled and greeted back with a smaller one.

"Please proceed with your work and don't mind me," he commanded and stepped closer to one of the chefs when the kitchen staff got back to their tasks. He didn't miss the whispers of disbelief and fascination with his presence in the kitchens.

Felix bit back a grin. The reason why he had come there was his lovely soon-to-be husband. The prince wanted to prepare dinner for him after Changbin whined about wanting to eat one of his mother's original dishes, which no cook in the whole castle knew how to prepare.

In the end, Changbin gave up because he didn't want to burden anyone with his whims. Felix on the other hand mounted his horse as soon as his fiancé was taken to the dressmaker's and rushed to Changbin's mother for the dish recipe.

Now that he was in the kitchens with the recipe and ingredients he only needed some space and maybe a little bit of help.

"Good afternoon, Your Highness. I'm the head chef Jung Wooyoung. May I help you?" he greeted secretly eyeing the ingredients in the prince's arms.

Felix acknowledged him with a polite head nod. "Nice to meet you, chef Jung. I have a request."

Wooyoung grinned.

"I'm at your service, Your Highness."
