♡ t w e n t y o n e ♡

The first rays of sunshine seeped into the vast bedroom. Felix opened his eyes and saw his fiancé sleeping peacefully in his arms; his smaller body pressed to his chest.

Oh how mesmerized by the boy's beauty was the prince. Changbin was ethereal. Felix was completely enamored. Every detail, every aspect of the smaller was precious. The blond still couldn't believe Changbin was his.

He swept away gently a few messy strands of his black hair and affectionately kissed his forehead.

The boy hummed in his sleep but didn't wake up. Felix chuckled quietly and let go of the older. Changbin would wake up soon and he wanted to prepare a bath for him.

Normally, the maids ran baths but ever since his lover moved into his chambers Felix wanted to take care of everything himself. He suddenly remembered one time when Changbin was in charge of it.

The prince woke up and stretched his limbs. He had to attend a meeting in an hour so he decided to start his day with a warm bath as he always did.

He entered the bathroom and frowned. The bath wasn't ready. It was quite unusual but Felix shrugged his shoulders and ran his bath himself. He understood the maids were humans too. Maybe something happened or someone simply forgot to do it.

The prince close the tap and began to undress. Just as he slid his top piece of sleeping garments off his shoulders the door to the bathroom flew open and a panicked boy in a maid uniform rushed in.

Felix turned around with his eyebrows raised. The boy stopped in his tracks and squeaked. His face turned pale as if he had seen a ghost and he quickly covered his eyes.

"Cute," the prince thought staring at the maid. Of course, he recognized the boy. He knew him. His name was Changbin. The boy's hair was tousled and his uniform was disheveled. "He probably overslept."

"M-my apologies, Your Highness. I didn't mean t-to, uh, I don't, uh-" the boy babbled in panic.

Felix let out a bubbly laugh. The boy was too adorable.

"It's okay," he assured with a smile.

The maid shut his eyes tightly and bowed to him deeply.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness. I was in charge of your bath today but I overslept," he apologized again. He was clearly scared of the consequences of his mistake.

The prince put down the nightshirt on a marble counter and closed the distance between them. He grabbed Changbin's shoulders gently and unbend him.

"I said it's fine. It's only a bath. Look, I prepared it myself. I think I did okay, don't you think?" he joked.

The maid glanced at his cheerful face and he blushed. His bare chest didn't help at all.

Changbin averted his gaze to the bathtub. Something was missing.

The boy stepped closer to the shelf with various bottles, jars, and sachets. He tiptoed to grab one of the jars. He struggled a bit with it but eventually succeeded and sprinkled a handful of the contains into the water.

Felix was standing quietly frozen in place. His eyes followed every move and expression of the boy as he focused on his task. Changbin was beautiful.

The maid put the jar away and grabbed a bottle along with a sachet. He poured a few drops of the liquid to the tub and picked cornflower petals from the sachet.

He stepped aside with a proud smile.

"Done! I hope Your Highness won't mind. I added bathing salt and oils. They are great for softening and moisturizing skin. Also, together with the flower petals, they have relaxing properties."

The prince stared at his smile.

The boy noticed Felix's intense gaze and hung his head low in embarrassment.

"If Your Highness excuses me, I will leave."

Felix blinked.

"Oh? Ye-yes. Thank you. You can leave now," he dismissed the boy. Once they Changbin slipped past him and closed the door the prince looked at the beautifully arranged fragrant bath and he breathed out.

He was in love.

Felix ran the bath. He rummaged through different types of bathing salts and oils. He wanted to pick the ones that would suit his lover the best.

One day, he asked his mother for advice on what types of salt, oils, and herbs would be the best for a pregnant person and she gladly helped him.

Once he found what he was looking for and added it to the warm water he sprinkled it with rose petals and cut the water off.

His mom warned him that a bath for a pregnant person shouldn't be hot. He checked the water's temperature with his palm and smiled.

"Perfect."

Now he had to wake up his sleeping beauty. The prince turned around and gasped in surprise.

Changbin was standing by the door rubbing his eyes sleepily; his hair and night attire messy. Felix's heart melted at the sight. He came closer to the boy and wrapped his arms around his smaller frame.

"Good morning, love. Did I wake you up?"

Changbin hummed and shook his head.

"I felt nauseous," he sulked.

"Would you like a cup of tea? It will help your morning sickness," Felix offered.

"Mhh"

"Let me help you get in the bath first and I will bring it to you in a minute," the blond chuckled at how sleepy the boy was and placed a tender kiss on the tip of his nose.

"N-no need to. I can do it- o-okay," he muttered.

Felix helped him take off his top than a bottom piece of his pajamas leaving him only in his undergarments. He noticed how nervous it made the boy so he averted his gaze giving him some privacy.

Once Changbin got rid of the last piece of clothing, the prince helped him get in the bathtub safely and kissed the crown of his head.

"I will be back quickly. Don't fall asleep, okay?"

"Mhh."

Felix chuckled and left the bathroom to prepare the tea. He wanted to slip in the bath with his lover already and shower him with kisses all over his soft skin.
