I opened my eyes to hear shuffling and loud groans. Drops of gasoline poured out on the side of the bus. I looked around carefully moving my neck as it hurt from the crash- Wait if I'm telling you this I need to tell this right. Where it all started...

I walked to the back of the bus and found Luke. All of them. They were on their phones. I took an open seat next to Andy.

I started to hear the sound of Madi's voice saying "shut up." I looked over to Madi to see she wasn't saying anything. Instead, she just laughed.

I looked at her confused, and Madi explains that her and Alex recorded her saying things, which was why Alex made it as her ringtone.

"Alex put it as mine and Hunter's ringtone, so Hunter must be calling her." Madi says and I nod understandingly.

"Hunter!" Madi screams, when realizing her own brother is calling. She was about to get up when the tour bus suddenly swerves.

The bus slides hard to the left when something hits the right side. The bus starts to roll harshly and I scream, "hold on!"

I wrap my arms around the nearest girl and all the boys do the same. My arms find itself wrapping around Andy and we all scream whilst tumbling around. Then, everything goes black.

Now I can continue...

I looked around and unwrapped my arms around Andy. "You ok?" I tried to ask as my body ached with every word I spoke. She nodded groaning. I carefully stood up and helped Andy up. I helped the others. Luke was beat up bad. Since Andy seemed fine, I wrapped Luke's arm around my shoulders and we all walked out of the bus.

Getting out the doors cautiously, we heard sirens coming from all directions. An ambulance  and several police. I looked around and found our bus driver. He leaned against the bus with bloody scars and a phone in hand. I guess he was able to get out and called the police. The ambulance stops next to us and people come out to help.

I motioned to Luke to get immediate help. A woman comes up to me and holds my chin upwards carefully. "Does your neck hurt?" She asks with a soft but stern voice. I reply with a no and move my neck around to show her. I look around to see everyone and noticed something wasn't right.

My eyes traveled around the scene in front of me. Luke was getting cleaned up with a busted lip and cuts, probably bruises, too. Michael and Ashton were getting bandaged up. Andy, Natalie, and Madi were talking to the police.

Where's Alex?

I broke away from the woman and ran towards Luke. "Have you seen Alex?!" I panic and he shakes his head, struggling a little. I hear a few sparks and a fire starts at the end of the bus.

I shake my head fully panicking and run towards the bus entrance. "Calum what're you doing?!" Madi yells stopping me in my tracks.

"I have to get Alex!" I scream and all the girls have a scared look on their faces, as they all run towards me.

"How are you gonna do that? The bus is on fire!" Natalie says and I say, "I know. I have to hurry."

"Well, what're you doing? Go!" Madi literally pushes me in the bus. Since the fire is spreading, the inside is like a heater. I walk over all the broken pieces of the bus and look around, trying not to miss a thing. That's when I see it:

Alex's shoes. Her bright green shoes.

I kneel down and see the bunk is covering her. Right, she was sitting on the bottom bunk and the bunk probably broke. I curse as I try to move the broken piece off with all my force, struggling badly. A few seconds later when I gain some strength, I finally get a grip of the bunk and throw it to the side. I guess adrenaline kicked in.

I was right as Alex was under the bunk. I try to forget all the emotions rushing through me when I see her bloody. I picked her up, bridal style, and hurried out the bus when it starts to collapse. I make it out and see everyone's concerned faces.

People come rushing towards me and take her. "Take care of her," I mumble and a guy nods, certainly hearing me. They drive off with her in the ambulance with Luke  since he needed medical attention, too.

Thank you for her shoes, I thought, feeling a little dizzy.

I don't remember much but I do remember tumbling around in the bus. In the end, I found myself all cut up and bloody. I remember why. Calum told everyone to hold on, which I did, but my grip slipped. I just rolled around as the crash treated me like a rag doll.

I'm inside the ambulance with Alex at the moment. People are trying to stop her bleeding while others are trying to bandage me up. I tried not to show how much I was panicking myself. My hands were definitely shaking and my chest hurt as my heart broke. How can these people act so calm?

Alex looked nothing like herself. Blood is everywhere. Cuts are on her legs and face. Everything seemed to be broken. Even me.

That's when I realized...

Nothing will ever be the same again.

Won't it?
