"I missed you." I tap the metal spoon against the lip of the mug before taking it out and sipping the warm, soothing drink. I roll my eyes for a flash of a second, but still casting my attention to it.

"It was only an hour." I whisper back while keeping my eyes trained on my right hand that held the cup, to which my left held the spoon. I felt like I could break at any second and I really hope he makes this - whatever it is- quick.

"The longest hour of my entire life." Calum whispers in my ear and I could feel his breath in the crook of my neck while is hand moves slowly up and down my shoulder.

I sat up with the blanket wrapped around me. I rubbed my eyes with one hand while I leaned on the other. This was the second day in a row I dreamed of Calum. The dreams don't help me remember anything about him, just what we did together which is becoming frustrating. All I want to is remember key moments that will allow me to learn about him, yet my mind can't do that apparently.

I glance at my clock and read the time, 3:21 AM. I moved my blanket off of me and swung my feet over the edge of my bed. This waking up early in the middle of the night fiasco needs to stop happening, because sleep is a very precious thing. Laughing to myself, I shake my head. Says the girl who just woke up from a three month sleep.

I looked over to my bedside table only to find an empty water bottle. Groaning, I stood up and slipped on shorts before walking downstairs. I don't need any run-ins with other people with no pants on happening either.

I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and was about to go back upstairs when I heard the television coming from the other room. I decided I won't be able to sleep for another hour or so, and walked into the living room. I found Chase laying on the couch with his attention on the movie playing: Transformers.

Which one exactly? I can't tell. They all were the same anyways.

"Don't you have to work in a few hours?" I question and sit down on the same couch where he didn't take over. Chase takes his eyes off the television screen to glance at me, then returning to the movie.

"I was thinking about taking the day off." Chase says and lowers the volume in order to hear each other. He sits up and faces me. I had my left leg propped on the coffee table close to the couch and my other leg tucked close to me.

"Sounds good." I nod in agreement. Chase worked from 8 AM to 5 PM for six days a week, Monday through Saturday. On Saturdays he would sometimes work half days, which is good for him. I always thought Chase worked too hard, and he deserves a day off. He just got the job almost a year ago for goodness sakes, he can take a day off for once.

"Are you going to take Mel and Ash to school later?"

"Of course." Chase smiles to me and I sigh relievedly. If he wasn't going to take them, then I'd need to find someone else to take them to school for the day.

"Thank you again for taking them." I mention for the hundredth time and run my fingers through my hair before letting go when I found tangles. "I feel like I don't thank you enough." I confess and Chase chuckles as his eyes reflected the light from the television.

"I don't mind." Chase shrugs before taking a sip of water from his half-empty glass. "I was thinking," he begins and pauses a moment to clear his throat. "I was thinking we'd go to the track later. Like, after we get some rest." He suggests scratching the back of his neck. I smiled at how nervous he seemed. Chase was just like Natalie; they both were extremely nice and laid back.
