"Uh-hm okay." I stutter and begin to slip off my nighttime leg brace.

"What do you remember of me?" Calum asks with no hesitation. It surprises me how easy this is for him. After all, he is the one who's forgotten.

"I just remember the things we did together." I shrug but begin to list of things since that didn't feel like a satisfactory answer. "Your name is Calum Thomas Hood, you're in a band, and you play bass. That's all I know." I say and his jaw goes stiff. Oops, I guess that didn't help either.

"Can you try to remember things about me?" I hear hope in Calum's voice as I fix my daytime leg brace on. I adjust it to the right size before standing up.

"I try, but nothing comes up." I say getting frustrated at how much he wants me to remember him. It wasn't my fault that I can't remember him. The task isn't that easy either.

I start to remember the dream I've had about him. It seemed like we were really close and now, we can't have a decent conversation. I shake the thought out of my head and walk out of my bedroom.

"Are you sure?" He seems unconvinced and follows me downstairs into the kitchen. I spin fast on my heel to face him. We're about two-feet apart and Calum walks forward to subtract one-foot from the distance.

"You don't understand. It's hard to remember you. You are a completely stranger to me." I slip out before thinking twice about it and notice him flinch at my harsh words. Luke appears at my side with an arm around my waist.

"If I can accept this, you can too " I mumble and hear a horn honk outside the house.

That must be Mark with a truck full of cars. We agreed on him taking the cars over here today so I can help the company fix them. I basically fix the cars and send them back to him at a certain deadline. There's no deadline this time since it's not only me who's fixing the cars. I have help from Chase.

I glance back at Calum and see his eyes growing empty.

"Look, I have to go help with the cars." I pause and wait for him to say something. "I'm sorry" I say finally after I realize he won't say anything.

I go get Chase and Hunter from the living room to help. Logan usually helps also but he left to work already. As they were walking outside, I come back to the kitchen for Luke.

"You coming?" I ask and he mumbles a few incoherent words to Calum before walking towards me.

I walk outside to see a truck parked in front of me. Chase and Hunter was setting up the ramp for the truck when Mark came up to me smiling.

"How many cars this time?" I was shocked at how big the tow truck was.

"Seven." Mark shrugs and I widen my eyes at him, which makes him laugh.

"That's a lot." I point out and watch Chase standing at the side of the ramp guiding Hunter, who's driving a white Aston Martin down the ramp.

"Hey, you've done more." Mark nudges me happily. "Plus you have Chase, who is my best mechanic." He compliments and I give him a double thumbs up.

"Yeah, he's pretty good." I squint when the sun gets in my face. "Chase, Mark just complimented you!" I yell over the roaring engine of the Aston Martin and once he hears me, Chase does a little happy dance. All he's wanted was to be accepted by the Crew, given that my past boyfriend was not. They were a little tough to break, but once you're on their good side everything is a smooth sailing from there.
