"Let's break up, Rona" 

But Joo Seokhoon, what if, I didn't let you go this time. 

"Seokhoon." Rona chased after Seokhoon. Questions rushed over her mind. 

Why did Seokhoon leave his mother's side and go to Joo Dan Tae's side? Didn't he say he would not be controlled by his father's ways? 

"Stop right there." Seokhoon stopped Rona's steps with a serious tone. He couldn't bear turning himself to face Rona. "Don't come near me." His face, reveals a complicated feeling. 

"Come to your senses!" Rona warned. "Why are you doing this too? You should stay by your mom side!" 

Seokhoon took a deep breath and turned to Rona. He repeated in his mind many times, do not break down before Rona. Stay strong. 

"I've finally come to my senses. I was being childish all this time. I was mistaken in think I could do something for you and my mom, but it turns out I'm not all that different from my dad." 

Seokhoon acted like his old devil side. Shocking Rona. 

"My life is more important to me than anyone else's." 

Rona fell into deep thoughts. She does not believe a single word Seokhoon say. He is pretending as he always does. He has always been trying to carry all the burden onto himself when he is just a lonely soul that needs love and support. Both of them do. 

"Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?" 

Rona tried to hold onto Seokhoon's hand but got swung away. 

This act. 

Broke Rona's heart. 

The coldness. 

It was as if the two of them went all the way back to step 1. 

"We would never work anyway. My dad tried to kill you, so what could we do?" 

Seokhoon spoke the truth. 

So you're worried about this?  Rona thought. 

"Let's break up." 

"I can't do this anymore." Seokhoon sighed. 

The conflict in his heart was unbearable. He could not stand a single second contemplating how to protect his love, his mother, when his father tried to stab them behind his back, simply because of him. 

Rona's eyes rolled with tears. She was contemplating too. But she needs to get reassurance before her every move. 

"Are you being serious?" 

"Yes, I'm being serious. I'm not going to acknowledge you from now on, and I'm not going to help you if something happens." Seokhoon spilt everything like he just wanted this moment to end as quick as possible so he can avoid Rona's sight on him. 

"Let's go back to when we didn't know each other."

I cannot not know you. I love you from the first day already. 

"I don't care if you resent me or hate me."

I do hate you now. Joo Seokhoon. But... why do I still love you.
