After the unsettling destruction of Hera Palace, it seems to finally have marked the end of a destructive war. With the fall of Joo Dan Tae, it seems to have symbolled Joo Seokhoon's freedom from his father's confinement. He was once again free to be whoever he wants,
and to love, whoever he wants.
Yet, fate sets two lovers apart still.
Rona was set to depart from Korea to the US for Julliard. Her talents deserved it all. And even thinking so, Seokhoon was also one of the people that suggested not to waste Rona's talent.
He was meant to send her away.
But he swore.
He will wait for her.
No matter how long.
At the airport, Minhyuk and Jenny bid Rona farewell.
"Please take care of yourself, baby." Jenny hugs her best friend tightly.
"Ah, Jenny, you're suffocating me," Rona giggled from Jenny's tight embrace.
"I won't get to embrace you again in the next five to six years, who knows how long! I hate you for it! Just let me hug you longer and tighter! No complaints allowed!" Jenny pouts as she breaks the embrace.
Minhyuk laughs at Jenny's silliness.
"It's okay Jenny, Rona can facetime us every day, right?" Minhyuk suggested.
Rona laughed and pats Minhyuk's shoulders. "Ya, am I that free?"
"Right! Our great Prima Donna!" Minhyuk laughed. "But seriously call Jenny," he covered his mouth and whispered to Rona, "she gets cranky."
"YA! Lee Minhyuk!" Jenny hits Minhyuk.
Rona laughs.
How much she will miss these laughs and giggles.
Minhyuk hands Rona her tickets and turned to hold Jenny's hand.
"Here, our great Prima Donna, we are so proud of you. Go shine." Minhyuk smiled and gave Rona a good friendly pat on the shoulders.
Jenny smiled too.
Rona looked at her tickets and millions of feelings flooded her. Tears started running.
"I am sure going to miss here." She whispered.
Six or even more years.
Although it could be in a glimpse in other's eyes, to her, and some of her unspoken feelings, it felt long enough.
As she lifts her head up slowly, she sees Jenny and Minhyuk's interlocking fingers.
Her lingering emotions were refused to leave.
