On the day of marriage cloud recess is decorate with red lanterns and lights.

Everyone was present at the hall enjoying tea. Jin family, Nie family, Wen Ning and Wen Yuan.

All girls help Wen Qiao to get ready. Lan Zhan and other disciples help Xichen get ready.

Jiang Cheng, “Wei Wuxian behave yourself. Do not forget next is yours number”.

Wei Wuxian pouting, “Not only me all of you will also get married next. So you all to behave or else I am going to complain to my Lan Zhan”.

Jin Zixuan, “The one who is going o marry in Lan clan is you Wei Wuxian. So start behaving like a Lan”.

Wei Wuxian, “Shut up you peacock or else I will not let you marry my shijie”.

After getting ready both Lan Zhan walk to Lan Xichen to main hall where wedding is.

Minutes later, Lan Nuo and Madam Yu walk Wen Qiao to wedding hall. Lan Huan greet them.

Lan Nuo, “You know what to do”. Saying this she walk inside the hall along with Madam Yu and Lan Zhan to join others.

All of them get silent when one Lan disciple make announcement of new Lan couple arrival.

All of them turn round in the direction of couple. People start whispering among themselves.

Both Xichen and Qiao walk inside the hall and stop in front of elders. They follow the martial rituals and bow three times.

First bow to their ancestors living in heavens to get their auspicious blessings, second bow to their elders Lan Hauling and Lan Qiren as a sign of respect and thanks for their kindness if nurturing and third bow to each other as husband and wife worshiping each other. With three bows, both of them are now married to each other. 

Everyone congratulate them. Both of them bow to all of them in respect thanking everyone for the blessings and wishes.

After that, Lan Nuo and other female disciples walk Qiao to their room where tea ceremony is hold.

Xichen will take of her bridal veil and complete all marriage rituals. Lan Nuo make Qiao sit on bed and ask him to wait for Xichen. Qiao nod.

Minutes later, Xichen walk inside the room and stand in front of Qiao. Qiao nervous close her eyes and start playing with her fingers.

Xichen slowly lifted her veil and smile seeing her closed eyes. “You look beautiful today”. Qiao slowly open her eyes hearing Xichen words.

Xichen sit beside her and hold her hand. Qiao freeze on her spot not able to think.

Xichen feeling her cold hands gets worried, “Are you still cold?”

Qiao come back to her senses shook her head. Xichen, “I want to tell you something”.

Qiao, “What?”

Xichen, “From today onwards I fulfil all my responsibilities’ towards everyone either it is as sect clan leader, as a family member, as a cultivator and lastly as your husband”.

Qiao feels warm hearing those words. She smile to him and stand up. Next, she bow to him, “Then today I promise you I will also fulfil my responsibilities towards everyone and not let anyone harm my family”.

Xichen stop her from bowing and make her sit on bed. He takes the teacups walk to Qiao and hand her one, “We should fulfil the marriage ritual. Everyone is waiting for us”.

Qiao nod and both of them drink their tea. After that, both of them walk out of the room.

Both of them walk to hall and join everyone for the feast that contains vegetarian and sweet dishes only but they also taste good as they made to others’ liking and taste.

They both sit in middle. Everyone start praising them for their looks. Everyone present them their gifts.

Jin family come forward and present them their gift. Jin Guangzhou intentionally tries to touch Qiao but one Lan disciple came forward and take it from his hand thanking him.

Jin Guangzhou in anger left the hall. Meng Yao also walk behind him towards his room.
