Rylee's POV

I was awake pretty early and sneaked out of bed. I wanted to prepare breakfast for Steve and everything else for the day. He didn't know what we wanted to do and just let me surprise him. I had the cake in the oven, finger food, croissants and sandwiches prepared and already packed everything in a picnic basket. I was walking around the kitchen getting everything ready when two strong arms captured me.

'Good morning, sweetheart' I loved his husky morning voice and I immediately felt a shiver down my body. I turned around in his embrace and wrapped my arms around his neck.

'Happy Birthday, Love!' I gave him a loving kiss that just meant to be short but he deepened the kiss, grabbed my thighs to lift me and set me up on the kitchen counter. He stood between my legs in a second and our tongues met each other in a passionate kiss. This was not planned but I could live with that. His hand grabbed my ass and I wrapped my legs around his body. I totally forgot where we were and what I wanted to do before Steve came into the kitchen.

'Already the best birthday' Steve kissed my neck and his fingers started to tug at my shirt but the loud sound of the buzzer rang out. He stopped and I needed a moment until I came back to reality. He took a step back after I pushed him slightly and I jumped from the kitchen counter to walk over to the oven. I blushed by the thought of what I was just doing with Steve. I felt a little bit like the teenager again who tried to sneak a boy into the house and got caught by her uncle. Her very very very mad uncle. I got the cake out of the oven.

'You're baking a cake for me?' Steve held the three candles in his hand. A zero, a one and a two. I wouldn't fit 102 candles on a cake so I decided I would just take numbers.

'Oh no. This is for the neighbor because he's getting 120.' He started to tickle me as soon as I put the cake down. 'You baked a cake for me. Did I already say that I love you?'

'A few times' and he also showed it tome a few times last night. 'It's just a chocolate cake, nothing fancy because I'm not the biggest baker and...' He interrupted my rambling with a small kiss.

'The last one who baked something for me was my mother when I was fourteen. Thank you.'

He tried to break a piece off of it and I smacked his hand. 'This is for later. It's too hot to eat it right now anyways.' He looked at me with a pout and I was pretty close to just let him have a piece of the cake. 'You shouldn't even see it. I wanted to prepare breakfast for you in bed and wake you up. It should have been a surprise.' I wasn't really mad but I wanted everything to be perfect today.

'I can get back to bed and act surprised when you come and wake me up' I loved that he has this goofy and funny side. I made us coffee and a little breakfast with bacon, eggs and pancakes. Before I gave him his big plate I put cream and strawberries on the pancakes because I knew he loved them. How could he eat so much and still look like this? Then I remembered the serum and that he was working out a lot.

We enjoyed our breakfast before I gave him his first present. Captain America swim briefs. Blue with a red shield and a white star in the middle. There wasn't much fabric. He gave me the eyebrows of disapproval and I could barely hold in my laughter.

'Do you not like them?' I was biting my lower lip to stay calm but he saw right through the facade. He took the briefs in his hands and turned around. I heard him walking up the stairs and when he came back he was wearing them. This time I couldn't contain my laughter. It broke out of me. I definitely should have bought it at least one size bigger because it could barely fit everything that Steve had to offer. For a moment I thought the fabric would burst.

'Do you think I could go out like that?' Oh my god. I just wanted to make him laugh with this present. I never expected him to really wear them and that he would make me laugh.
