Steve's POV

After two more rounds in the bed and one in the shower we both fell asleep in each others arms. I woke up at seven because it was my normal time to get up. Rylee was still sleeping, totally exhausted from the night before. She laid on my chest, her hair spread all over my upper body. I loved her hair especially when she was wearing a ponytail because I was thinking of how I could pull at it when I would take her from behind. It was long enough that I could wrap it around my whole hand but I didn't do it.

I was still holding back a bit because I was afraid to hurt her with my strength. I couldn't forgive myself if that happened. I enjoyed sex but I never really let go completely and I always held back. I knew how strong I was and I never wanted to hurt a woman, especially not Rylee.

I looked down at Rylee and stroked some hair out of her beautiful face. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman, waking up with her in my arms but I couldn't tell her right now. I didn't think she was feeling the same because it was too early. We were going out for just two months now and we were living in different cities. I was afraid that she would just run when she knew how deep my feelings were. I didn't want to scare her away so I kept this to myself.

I gave her a kiss on the forehead and tried not to wake her when I got up from bed. I took my running clothes out of my closet and left the room. I changed outside the bedroom, left her a note in the kitchen if she would wake up before I came back and went for a run. When I came back Rylee was still asleep which wasn't that surprising because it was not even nine. I took a look at the calendar on the kitchen wall and realized the date. March 10. I totally forgot that it was today because I was too excited to see Rylee. This day reminded me once more what was lost and how much I have failed.

I went into the shower even though I just wanted to run a hundred more miles to get my head clear. I turned my head towards the wall and just let the water fall on me. I didn't hear that Rylee was standing in the bathroom until she stepped into the shower. Her hands roamed over my back and she hugged me from behind, kissing my right shoulder.

'Good morning, Captain.'

Her hands stroked over my chest and my abs but I was grabbing her wrists to limit her movements. She buried her face in my back and gave it a few kisses. I let go of her hands, turned around in her embrace and wrapped my arms around her. I just wanted to feel her close to me and she noticed immediately that my head was all over the place. It wasn't like I didn't want her right now, my body was definitely aroused by her naked body in my arms. She placed more kisses on my chest and I really wanted to give in. The only thing that was holding me back was that I wasn't sure if I had enough self control to not hurt her this time with my strength.

I chose the right thing to do and took a step back. While I took a step out of the shower I turned the regulator for the temperature on cold.

'Verdammte Scheiße. Zasranec. Putain. Que te den!!' She started to curse in every language she knew which were a few and I just started to laugh.

'Language' I was still laughing while she was still cursing. I heard her changing the water temperature and she looked at me.

'Language? Are you fucking kidding me? Who is the one who uses dirty talk? Merde!'

I took a step towards her and looked her deep in the eyes. My lips were ghosting over hers.

'Me, but I can stop with it if you don't like it' I definitely knew that she liked it and by the look on her face she didn't want me to stop. She didn't say anything and was just staring at me, breathing harder. I started to smirk 'I thought so' I turned around and heard her cursing again. I didn't even want to know what she was saying in all these languages. When she came out of the bathroom with just a towel I could smell her peach shower gel. Every time I smelled peaches I was thinking of her. Same went for the smell of coffee.
