Rylee's POV
I watched Steve and the others walking over to the time heist and taking places on the platform. They stood in a circle while Steve talked to them. I knew them for a couple years but I never saw him like that. He was always Steve for me but now he was Captain America talking to his team to motivate them.
'Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams. You know your missions. Get the stones. Get them back. One round trip each. No mistakes... no do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives and we're gonna win. Whatever it takes.' He looked over at Tony who gave him a nod and then back to the rest. They all put their hands in the middle. 'Good Luck.'
'He's pretty good at that.' Rocket looked back to me and I smiled. Yes, he was. Scott nods enthusiastically. He was Steve's biggest fan and it was kinda cute how joyful he was sometimes.
'Alright, you heard the man. Stroke those keys, Jolly Green.' Tony looked over at Bruce who tapped in commands with his pencil at the control panel while I watched him. I didn't understand a thing he was doing there. So I looked up at the platform again and saw Rocket and Clint talking with each other.
'Trackers engaged.' Bruce stepped on the platform, completing the group. The platform began to vibrate and started to beep.
'See ya in a minute' Natasha looked at Steve and then at me. She smiled and I smiled back. The next moment they were gone. I just needed to wait one minute. I started to play with my braided hair. Nat braided them because she said it would calm her. One Damn Minute.

Steve's POV
Bruce, Tony, Scott and I landed in New York in 2012 which meant Chitauri everywhere and we had to look out that we didn't meet ourselves from that time. I didn't believe it was already eleven years ago that the battle of New York happened. Sometimes it seemed like yesterday while on other days it felt a lifetime ago. We all retracted our time suits the moment we landed in that alley.
'Alright, we all have our assignments. Two stones uptown, one stone down. Stay low, keep an eye on the clock.' Before I could say more the 2012 Hulk smashed a Chitauri with a car, threw a car wheel after another and roared while he jumped on the crashed car. I turned around to Bruce who seemed slightly embarrassed. 'Maybe smash a few things along the way.'
'I thinks it's gratuitous, but whatever.' Bruce ripped his shirt off and walked down the street. Softly roaring and not really intimidating but I hoped it would work. He half-heartedly smashed a taxi which was already pretty damaged. His mission was to find Doctor Strange and the Time Stone.
I turned back to Scott and Tony and we made our way to the Stark Tower and Tony flew into the penthouse with tiny Scott on his shoulders while I was approaching the elevator. I needed to get the Mind Stone in Loki's Scepter while these two needed to get the tesseract.
'Mr. Rogers, I almost forgot that that suit did nothing for your ass.' I heard him over my comms and rolled my eyes.
'No one asked you to look, Tony.'
'It's ridiculous'
'I think you look great, Cap. As far as I'm concerned, that's America's ass.' The same thing said Rylee and it made me smile for a moment. But I stopped when I heard Scott and Tony talking about S.h.i.e.l.d. who was in fact Hydra. How stupid we were.
I heard Tony again. He got the scepter in the elevator and this was my cue. I made myself ready and pushed the button so the elevator would stop at my floor. I had the suit on, I was shaved. I looked nearly the same as I did all these years ago. Then the doors opened and I got on. Showtime.
