Falke Journal Entry 82
Mrs. Willow managed to get me an empty journal to write in, which is nice to get back to writing on a regular schedule finally. A lot has happened since I last wrote something down; Yang and Jaune murdered Pyrrha and me. I was able to save Pyrrha from death but ended up dying. But, Vergil (Dante's Older Brother) saved my life so I could find his sword, the Yamato. I haven't told Dante or Pyrrha about meeting Vergil yet, since they're still trying to get around the whole 'Pyrrha being a Devil Hunter now' concept. But Vergil said that I could find clues here. So maybe I should start looking. I mean, the same people that destroyed Beacon could be the ones looking for the Yamato. I think a good place to start would be with Dante; he's the only person who knows of Vergil besides my aunt (which I have to ask her about that if I see her again).
End of entry
Falke and Pyrrha are in the training arena, Falke watching as Pyrrha battles against hologram versions of Grimm. She wields her new weapon, which she has named Heart-Piercer. As Falke watches her effortlessly destroy each of the holograms, his mind can't help but notice how much more in tune she is with the demonic power. Perhaps it's because she has much more control of her emotions than he did, or maybe it's because she learned from watching him all those times.
Dante: Manifesting himself next to Falke. "Yep, she's a natural at this. It looks like she learned from you."
Falke: "Glad I could help." Not taking his eyes off her.
Dante: "Hey. Don't tell me you're jealous."
Falke: "What! No...It's just something else is on my mind at the moment."
Dante: "Well? You gonna tell me, or are you gonna leave me hanging."
Falke: "You know how I saved Pyrrha, right? Well, I didn't make it; I died to see her safe. Now don't get me wrong, I don't regret that decision for one bit."
Dante: "I was actually gonna ask you about that. How the hell did you survive? I kinda just assumed you have some extraordinary luck."
Falke: "You aren't gonna believe me, but your brother Vergil saved me from dying."
Dante: "You're right I don't believe you. Do you mean to tell me that Vergil, the guy who would've killed someone for saying his sword was goofy? Saved your life." Falke only responds with silence as he looks at Dante with a serious expression. "You're not kidding...huh, I always knew he was a kind soul. Well, why'd he save you?"
Falke: "He said he needed me to find his blade, the Yamato." Dante only sits thinking to himself before standing up.
Dante: "Alright, kid, I'll help but first, we gotta help your girlfriend. Cause if Vergil thinks you need the Yamato, then something bad's gonna happen, and we need a powerhouse like her with us. Also, I can't really go anywhere without her, literally. Alright Pyrrha, training's over get on over here, will ya!"
Pyrrha, quite exhausted de-summons Heart-Piercer, and slowly makes her way over to the two. Falke tossing her a towel and water bottle, congratulating her on her progress.
Pyrrha: "What? Was I not able to keep up?" Looking to Dante.
Dante: "What. No, you did fantastic, kiddo. Much better than Falke did before. Now you have one last bit of training, and that's to unlock your Devil trigger, as you call it."
Falke: "Now I unlocked mine by experiencing great anger, but what Dante has told me is that it doesn't always have to be anger. It just has to be a strong enough emotion to trigger your demonic power to flare up. So now all you have to do is find that emotion."
