Mundus: "Is that right? Hahaha, I can't wait to rid all three of you from existence."
Mundus shoots a bolt of red lightning at Falke, but the Demon uses its tail to swat the bolt away. Then, Vergil summoning a set of blades, shoots them at the eyes of Mundus, blinding him for a moment.
Falke: "I'm pretty certain this belongs to you." Tossing the Yamato to Vergil.
Falke takes a moment to summon a blue spectral version of Rebellion as he and the Demon charge at Mundus. Vergil took a second to stare at the sheathed Yamato, looking back up to Mundus. He unsheathes the blade.
Vergil: "This is for you, Dante."
Back at Shade Academy
Dante: *sneezes* "Huh, didn't know I could do that."
Pyrrha: "You didn't know you could sneeze?" She comments as she is currently finishing up the homework she'd been assigned.
Nero: "Hey? You heard anything back from your hubby?"
Pyrrha: "*sigh* Nothing yet, unfortunately, if I'd known he would be gone for more than a week, I would've made him promise to call me."
Dante: "In all honesty, he would've called you after a day or two."
Pyrrha: "I hope he's doing okay. Wherever he is."
Back in the Underworld
Falke: "Okay, news flash. Don't get hit by the lightning. It fucking hurts!" Picking himself up as he had just been thrown back by a bolt of red lightning.
He charges back into the fight as Vergil continuously sends judgment cut after judgment cut at Mundus. The Demon following it up with strikes and kicks, disorienting the tyrant allowing Falke to get a few good strikes in. They continue this process, but after some time, the tyrant king begins to overpower the three. Finally able to send the three of them back.
Falke: Breathing heavily as he picks himself up. "Okay..does anyone else have any good ideas?"
Vergil: "We try again until we beat him. We either need more time or more power."
Falke: "Yeah, I'm gonna have to veto that idea. What about you?" Turning towards the Demon.
Demon: "I have an idea...but you may not like it."
Falke: "Well, a bad idea is only bad if it fails. Hit me."
Demon: "During my time being able to be free and experience 'life', you have shown me that there is more to existence than pain and anger. You have shown me so much more, such as love, compassion, courage, kindness, and more emotions I cannot name. For that Falke...I will forever be grateful. Thank you."
Caught in confusion, Falke doesn't see that the Demon had shoved its arm into his chest and was flooding Falke's body with its energy.
Falke: "Wait, what're you doing? Stop!"
Vergil: "It is giving you all of its power...sacrificing itself to do so."
Falke: "Please! No, stop! Why are you doing this?"
Demon: "You have given me an existence that I can say was worthwhile. But you have only just begun yours, and I would want you to live it with the ones you love, those I also have come to cherish and care for. Take care." Fading away as the last of its energy is absorbed by Falke.
A large explosion of dark blue energy causes the entire tree to shake as Qrow and Summer grab hold as not to fall from the tree.
Qrow: "Son. Please be careful."
