Multiple Shade Academy Bullheads fly over the expansive desert of Vacuo. They carry the refugees from Atlas and the Huntsmen that brought them there. In Ky's ship, flying with the rest of the Bullheads, sit Team CVFY, Team RWBY, Qrow and Raven, Oscar, Emerald, and the reformed Team JNPR. Falke is seated in one of the ship seats with Pyrrha nestled under his arm as they both sleep. By his leg sits the Yamato and the Spear of Creation lean on the seat, their energies rebounding off each other and intertwine with one another. As the two of them sleep, the other chat about their next plan as Yang constantly looks over to Falke. She still couldn't believe that Falke was alive and that he saved her from certain death.
Blake: "Yang? Are you alright? You seem a bit off."
Yang: "O-oh! Yeah, Blake. I'm all good, just a bit surprised." Looking over to Falke and Pyrrha. "It's just...unbelievable to see them both."
Emerald: "You and me both. The last time I saw him, he was cracking jokes with a stupid grin, and now he's wiping out entire hordes of Grimm without breaking a sweat."
Raven: "It's the Yamato. The sword holds a great deal of power. A power which he now can call upon at will. What you saw him do earlier is only a portion of what he's able to do."
Ruby: "Man. It makes you scared at what Salem could do with that kind of power if she got a hold of the Blade of Destruction before he did."
Vergil: "The Blade of Destruction and the Yamato are not the same." Causing everyone except Raven to get startled as he summons himself.
Raven: "Master." They both nod at one another.
Yang: "Wait? Who are you, and how do you know my mom?"
Raven: "This is Vergil Sparda. He trained me in the way of the blade, and he is the spirit of the Yamato."
Ruby: "Oh! Like Jinn and Ambrosius."
Vergil: "No. The Yamato is not a Relic of Power made by the Brother-Gods. Instead, it houses the power of the Blade of Destruction."
Blake: "Wouldnt that make the Blad-, I mean the Yamato, just a regular blade." Raven cracks a small smile as Vergil takes a stoic glare towards the Faunus.
Vergil: "The Yamato is anything but a 'regular blade'. The Yamato, before I used it to take the original Relic's power, could destroy skyscrapers with just a slice and rend reality with an overhead slash. Now with the power that I took, the blade could wipe this world clean ten times over." Blake now regrets making her previous statement.
Ruby: "Well, if you took the original Relic's power, what happened with the spirit bound to it."
Vergil: "You seem smart enough to figure it out." De-summoning himself.
Ky (Intercom): "Hey, we're coming up on Shade Academy, so get ready to exit, and please make sure to clean up after yourselves. I like to keep my ship clean."
Ky begins to land the ship on a landing pad in front of the school, as the other ships also land in a large courtyard area. As Ky's ship touches the ground, Falke wakes up, checking if the Yamato and Spear of Creation are secure.
Qrow: "Come on, kid. Let's introduce ourselves." Falke is slowly waking up Pyrrha.
Falke: "You think we'll find mom."
Qrow: "How about we get ourselves situated first, alright? Your mom will be in good hands." Falke picks up Yamato and The Spear in his hands.
The group exits Ky's ship to see a muscular man around his 40's, wearing a checkered vest over a dark black buttoned short-sleeved shirt, with a set of silver pants. He also sports a dark blue cape that hangs down to his knees. He carries a stern look on his face as the group approach.
