The six teens sit around a campfire, discussing the year's events how Coco and her team took down a couple of rouge huntsmen trying to tear down Shade academy. Falke and Pyrrha explained how they walked from Mistral all the way to Vacuo.

Fox: "That's kind of crazy, you two walked all the way here. I mean, you could've just flown here on a Bullhead."

Pyrrha: "We actually tried, but because the airspace in Vale is kind of dangerous now, no one wants to take the chance. Besides, we could handle anything that was thrown our way, right honey?" She says as she snuggles into Falke's side.

Coco: "So how long have you two been...you know?"

Falke: "Around a week now. We were making our way through one of the small villages and decided to help deal with a Grimm problem. So they gave us these two rings as a reward, and well, one thing led to another. But it's technically not official yet, and we're more like...saving ourselves for one another after we're done."

Yatsuhashi: "You told us that you're looking for some kind of power at the arches. What kind of power?"

Falke: "Y'all ever heard of the Relic of Destruction?" The four shake their heads. "It's an old artifact that's said to contain boundless destructive capabilities. We learned that the same people that destroyed Beacon and attacked Haven are now coming after this artifact. If we don't get to it first, then all that power is going to be used to hurt a lot of people."

Coco: "And this artifact is at the Arches of Beauty?"

Pyrrha: "The only knowledge about the location of the artifact was a poem describing that the location of it was at the Arches of Beauty."

Velvet: "Well, maybe we can help you. I mean, if these people are going to use it to destroy other schools and kill a lot of people, then we have to make sure they don't get it."

Falke: "We can't ask you to do this."

Coco: "Well, good for you, you don't cause we're choosing to do this. Isn't that right?" The rest of her team nods in agreement.

Fox: "So we get to save the world. Finally, some real big-time huntsmen action."

The others laugh it off as they begin to set up their sleeping bags to sleep for the night. On a rocky cliff overlooking the group, a large figure in armor stands watching. He reaches for a communicator.

Angelo: "This is Agent Angelo, reporting in. The targets are 9 hours from the site. Do I have permission to engage?"

Ironwood: "You are clear to engage but wait until they bring the key to the gate. We need them to open the door for us to retrieve the artifact and remember we need them both alive. I need someone who can get the job done since we lost Clover, and if you do this right, you'll be that person."

Angelo: "Understood, sir. What of any other individuals with the priority targets?"

Ironwood: "It's the deserts of Vacuo, Agent; people die there all the time. Do with them as you see fit."

Angelo: "Understood, Agent Angelo out." Turning off the communicator, he turns to a team of individuals in black combat uniforms. "We ambush the targets at the Arches tomorrow with the rest of the force. The priority targets are to be left alive. For the others...shoot to kill."

The Next Day

As the sun rises, the huntsmen are already on the move, choosing to cover more ground before the heat becomes unbearable. Unbeknownst to them, they are being followed by Angelo. As the team reaches the Arches, they are all taken aback by the size of the structure. Although the arches stand around the same height the towers at Beacon used to, time had not done any favors for the stone structure as they don't even connect at the top, and large chunks are missing and have crumbled away. The team approaches the structure as Falke begins to look around for any kind of keyhole to work with. Unfortunately, he doesn't find anything.
