Falke: Pacing up and down the hallway holding his scroll up to his ear. "Come on, come one. Pick up." Stopping as he hears the phone pick up.
Pyrrha(scroll): "Hello, this is Pyrrha."
Falke: "Hey, it's me. Where are you currently?"
Pyrrha(scroll): "Oh! Falke! I'm on my way back to the dorm room. Why did something happen?"
Falke: "No, I just wanted to ask if you'd like to have dinner with my family? It'd be really appreciated."
Pyrrha(scroll): "Of course I would. Hopefully, they don't mind me being in some casual clothes."
Falke: "Ah, don't worry, Winter's wearing literally some jeans and a t-shirt, you'll be fine."
Pyrrha(scroll): "Alright then, I guess all I need now is directions."
Falke: "That's all good. Just come to the refugee center apartment complex. I'll meet you downstairs."
Pyrrha(scroll): "Okkie-dokkie. I guess I'll see you then." Hanging up the phone.
Falke putting his scroll away begins to make his way down to the ground floor to meet with Pyrrha. Vergil, manifesting himself walking beside Falke.
Vergil: " 'Okkie-Dokkie', that has to be the strangest phrase I have ever heard."
Falke: "Hey, that's my wife you're talking about, jackass."
Vergil: "And yet it's not official."
Falke: "Quiet you. Besides, how'd the talk go with your granddaughter?"
Vergil: "Hmph. It went well...it was nice to see her again after so long. We talked for quite a bit. She asked me how I was doing since I had passed on and how my time with you has been. She also asked me a lot about Dante. When I asked her about her life after my death, she got a bit...silent. She would then tell me about her time being married to Jacques..." He then stopped walking as what she had told him still lingered within his mind.
Falke: "Are you okay?"
Vergil: "The things she told me...it hurt me more than when I lost Dante. To know that she had been treated that way, first to be shown false love, then to only be abused and manipulated. After that, she'd known only sadness and loss, but I know that when she found you again. To her, it was like finding the light in a tunnel of only darkness. It hurt even more to know how the rest of her children have been affected by him. You, your sisters, even your brother were all negatively affected by him in some way or another. But in the end, they all found their forms of happiness despite him. Speaking of happiness, here comes yours."
Falke turned around to see Pyrrha walking towards him. Jogging up to meet her, they share a tender hug before Dante summons himself.
Dante: "Hey, Falke. How've you been? Not too bad, I hope. Oh! I know that face Vergil. Were you discussing your feelings?"
Vergil: " *sigh* Must you antagonize me all the time, brother?"
Dante: "Nope. Just when I feel like it."
Falke: Looking at Pyrrha, "You look great."
Pyrrha: "Really? These were just some clothes I threw together."
Falke: "Doesn't matter. Come on, let's head upstairs, so we aren't late. Dad just showed up."
Vergil: "Not so fast. It appears Pyrrha was followed."
As the two of them turn around, they see Yang standing only a couple of feet away. She had dark bags under her eyes as though she'd been crying a lot recently. Falke, instinctively, puts himself between her and Pyrrha, shooting her a serious expression. Pyrrha also gaining a serious expression as her eyes begin to glow a faint red.
Yang: "Please? I don't want any trouble; I just want to talk."
Pyrrha: "Why did you follow me then?"
Yang: "I know that usually, if you go anywhere, you two would end up together. I didn't want to ask where you were going because you might have tried to fight me, and I didn't want that. Please? You have to believe me. I only want to talk." Her voice was timid, a far cry from her usual confident and prideful self.
Falke: " *sigh* You have five minutes."
Yang: "Thank you. Earlier today, Ruby gave me a really mean talking to about what I had done. She said that it was my responsibility to apologize to both of you...even if you wouldn't want to hear it. Back at Beacon, I was young and stupid. I only saw you as the other popular kid and not as my cousin. When I was told how you knew my mother, how she practically raised you...it made me angry and jealous. Why did she love you and not me, her own daughter? I let those feelings fester, and eventually, it grew into a deep-seated hatred for you. In the end, I wanted dot hurt you in any way possible, to make you feel what I had felt. But it never occurred to me that maybe I should've stopped and thought about it all. You had no one, Falke, no mom, no dad, no siblings, but even then, my family took you in and showed you what you never had. I never stopped to consider that you were my family as well. So when Ozpin offered me the chance to hurt you in a way that mattered, I took it without a second thought. Even now, after finally seeing what I did to you two, how I hurt and betrayed everyone for some petty jealousy. I can't even fathom what that pain must've felt like. Dammit, I'm rambling! *sigh* Look, I know you'll never forgive me, and in all honesty, I don't deserve anyone's forgiveness. I just wanted to tell both of you that...I'm sorry."
There was a long silence as both Falke and Pyrrha thought about what she had said. Falke looking back at Pyrrha, her eyes had stopped glowing as eyes of pity and sadness had replaced them. Even Vergil and Dante looked at Yang with a hint of pity on their faces. Finally meeting Pyrrha's eyes, they both nod to one another.
Falke: "Yang. You are right. We can never forgive you for what you did."
Pyrrha: "But you showed us that you feel remorse for what you did, and that shows that you haven't fallen off the path of good, as Jaune has."
Falke: "So. While we may never forgive you. We are willing to start again. Because we're family Yang, even if we kill one another, that won't ever change. Okay?"
Yang: Eyes beginning to water. "Thank you. That means more than you could ever know. I won't let you down ever again. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Falke and Pyrrha nodding with a small smile as Yang heads back to the dorms.
Pyrrha: Kissing Falke on the cheek. "That was the nicest thing I've ever seen you do. And that's why I love you."
Falke: "Really? I thought it was from my roguish good looks?"
Dante: "Nope. Sorry kiddo, that would be me."
Vergil: "You are dangerously delusional if you think you are 'roguish', Dante."
Dante: "Ow! My pride!"
The four laughed as they would head back upstairs to enjoy dinner with the Schnee family, Dante and Vergil even being saved seats at the dinner table inside the small apartment.
