Betrayed by those they trusted and left for dead, Falke and Pyrrha are now on their own. With no direction and no help they must make their way through an ever-changing Remnant as dark forces make their move, but those aren't the only beings looking...
Falke walks through a white void. The last thing he remembered, he grabbed the Yamato from the gate. The void itself is expansive, never showing any sign of ending or where it began. Falke continued to walk through the void, still calling out for anyone.
Falke: "Is anyone here?...Grandfather?"
Vergil: "It seems you finally made it. Good." Falke turning around to see Vergil standing with his arms crossed.
Falke: "Grandfather, man, it's good to see you. W-where am I?"
Vergil: "You are in a sub-space dimension created by the divine power of the Yamato. The Yamato that you took hold of was a link to this dimension. By grabbing it, you were brought here."
Falke: "So what happens now?" Vergil points behind Falke. As Falke turns around, he sees the Yamato floating a couple of feet away.
Vergil: "You take what's owed to you."
Falke smiles as he goes towards the Yamato. He suddenly collapses to the ground as he screams in unbelievable pain. Vergil watches on with peaked interest but also worries for his grandson.
Vergil: "Hmph, it seems it finally chooses now to show itself."
Falke then begins to puke up a black liquid that spreads around Falke and Vergil. Finally, after several minutes of this, Falke coughs up the last bit of fluid. Breathing heavily, Falke watches as the liquid begins to move to come together and taking shape. As it finishes, it takes the form of an imposing beast-like creature.
Falke: "W-what..is that?"
Vergil: "That is, or was my demonic heritage. Which was passed down to you."
The Demon before them stands much taller than the two. It seems almost similar to that of Dante's Demon. Except it has a silver or grey exterior with light blue accents mimicking that of lightning. Along its chest appears to be spike-like armor with a glowing blue center shaped like the letter 'V'. Its wings folded down its back, making it appear to be wearing a cloak or coat that stretches down to the ground and moving slowly across the ground behind it a tail.

Falke: "W-why...d-does it have...a tail?" Still recovering from the excruciating endeavor.
Vergil: "Really? Out of everything that just happened, it having a tail that confuses you the most?"
Before Falke could respond, the Demon roars as it releases a wave of energy pushing the two of them back.
Vergil: "Quit your boasting, you have words, and I know you can use them. Speak!" The Demon stops as it lets out a low growl.
Demon: "I remember you...you imprisoned me in my own body...made me a slave to myself." It spoke without moving its mouth, its voice low and booming; it echoed through the void. "And you...'boy'...you choose to side with him...yet he fears what he truly is."
