The pair that comes in set

Taehyun was eating alone at the cafeteria after Huening Kai got called at the office by their teacher to help her with her stuff. 

He was peacefully minding his own business, eating his sandwich while reading his notebook filled with notes, reviewing for their quiz at their next subject until a familiar voice called out his name.

"Taehyun-ssi!"

He looked up and saw his seniors, Soobin smiling at him while Yeonjun waved his hand as they approached him.

Taehyun raised his eyebrows in confusion and said, "yes?"

The two seniors smiled at him and the oldest spoke, "you alone?"

Taehyun nodded in response.

"Mind if we sit here with you?" Soobin asked.

He shook his head and put on a friendly smile as he replied softly, "No. Go ahead."

The two seniors sat in front of him and settled their lunch boxes after the younger nicely let them sit with him. 

Taehyun was about to go back from reviewing his notes until Yeonjun's loud ass voice took his attention, "Ah! Beomgyu-ssi! Come sit with us!"

Taehyun's eyes grew bigger and looked at Yeonjun who was already dragging Beomgyu's arm to their seats. He was still upset and mad about what happened yesterday, and now he had to sit with the walking headache on lunch. 

Since he let his seniors sit with him, he just defeatedly released a sigh as he cannot do anything about it anymore as Beomgyu was sitting beside Yeonjun already, not giving the dragged boy any chance to say 'no' to his offer.

As Taehyun tried to put his focus back on his notes, trying to ignore the presence of Beomgyu, Yeonjun, again, spoke to them, "Sorry for dragging you here Beomgyu-ssi, and if we invaded your personal space Taehyun-ssi. Actually Soobin and I need to talk about something to you guys."

The two freshmen looked at their seniors with a hint of confusion in their eyes. Glances turning to each other then going back to their seniors again.

"So.... We're not gonna waste your time anymore so we'll get straight to the point. Are you guys alright?" Soobin asked the two.

Taehyun raised his eyebrows, confused from having no idea what their seniors were talking about and Beomgyu responded to the older's question with a simple 'hmm?'.

"We saw the group chat Beomgyu-ssi." Yeonjun interjected.

"Ahh. That." Beomgyu nonchalantly said.

"It must have been hard for you two. Being constantly picked on by your seniors."

Taehyun huffed with a smirk on his face and said, "Rather than being picked on, I think it's a lot more appropriate to call it 'freshmen who pick a fight with their seniors'."

The two seniors giggled at Taehyun's statement and Yeonjun replied, "You're one hella brave boy for 'picking a fight' at the leader."

"Can't blame you though. They were all annoying and sensitive", he continued.

"You think?" Beomgyu asked Yeonjun.

"Of course. This is our second year being with them and the lazy attitude has always been there ever since."

"Wow. I thought we're the only ones."

"You mean we weren't obvious about it?" Soobin responded with a hint of disbelief.

"Not that it's not obvious sunbaenim, rather, you two just don't talk back." Taehyun answered while reading his notes.

"Not like we have a choice. They will literally say our opinions are invalid even if we're the ones who created the choreography." Yeonjun scoffed at Soobin's statement, "GaY PeOpLe'S oPiNiOn ArE IrReLiVanT", the eldest mockingly imitated those people who said that.
