Okay first of all, thank you for those who showed their love and support to this book, I would also like to thank those who commented some comforting words through out the process of me making this💖 I love you all~
I still have no definite plan if I should put this in a long hiatus, discontinue it, or just push through but I'll figure it out soon, I just need a little more time :>
That would be all, the chapter now starts here ⬇️
------------------It's been weeks since Taehyun and Beomgyu went out and cut class. After that eventful day, their lives were back to normal– Taehyun focusing on his studies and Beomgyu trying to focus on his studies but failing eventually as his attention span is way smaller than a goldfish brain.
Of course, the weekly hangouts in Kai's house as they mess around or have their designated group study requested by Taehyun so his parents won't be too suspicious of the frequency of his visits to his bestfriend's house, was also back to their routine.
The only difference was, sometimes the group spends their lunch on the rooftop, sneaking their ways in with Beomgyu and Taehyun's help. Did the two learned their lessons? Yes, in a way that they planned it carefully so they won't get caught this time. But do they have any plans to stop the unruly actions? No. Taehyun started to enjoy it so no.
The eyes that continued to watch Beomgyu's movements had lessened so they had the time to do something mischievous such as breaking some rules again, but this time, they always went as a group.
The other three had also questioned the two boys about their absence in the first day of the second semester and Beomgyu was definitely scolded by his hyungs and Kai screamed from not being included again after telling them the truth while the two seniors babied Taehyun and asked if he was okay. What an unfair treatment.
All is good and today was a good day. For some unknown reason, Beomgyu is happy. He probably woke up on the right side of the bed. He aced his surprise quiz in their literature and the information was still stuck in his mind which is a miracle because usually, he forgets it after 5 minutes.
What's more surprising? Taehyun didn't even helped him this time. Maybe exercising his brain really jolted his nerves awake and made his memorization skills better.
He was skipping on the hallway to fetch his forgotten wallet in their room, leaving the other four in their usual spot in the cafeteria. And when he stepped foot inside of the empty room, he then just realized that it wasn't empty after all.
Sniffs and whimpers can be heard at the corner of the space and Beomgyu roamed his eyes to spot a crying girl on her seat. He slowly approached the girl, not wanting to scare her away from his mere presence. Three meters of distance, Beomgyu finally gently spoke, spooking the girl from his voice. Well, so much for being careful.
"Are you okay?"
"Oh my god– Beomgyu, you scared me!"
"I'm sorry. Are you okay, Ahyoung-ah?"
Their class president, Ahyoung, wiped her eyes as her cheeks flushed red from the embarrassment of getting caught crying like a baby. The girl only nodded, not meeting Beomgyu's stare.
He scooted closer and sat beside Ahyoung, trying to get the feel of the atmosphere before talking again.
"You know, you can tell me anything and I won't judge, right?"
The girl nodded and sniffed. Ahyoung and Beomgyu had been classmates since Beomgyu transferred to this school. They weren't particularly close, but they knew each other long enough to gain each other's trust.
