A gush of wind suddenly hits his skin and the blazing sun intentionally blinding his sight.
Taehyun's eyes slowly adjusted from the blinding light of the afternoon to see the whole view from the rooftop and when his sight finally adapted to the high exposure scenery, Taehyun could see every single thing from the above.
His eyes widened on how astonished he was from their unexpectedly beautiful town. Trees were placed randomly at the small park near the campus, some tall buildings that one of them he could identify as their mall, aka the town's supermarket. The houses with different levels and the perfectly aligned ones at the subdivision he lived in.
Some really seemed small from being too far from their spot but it never failed to make Taehyun feel amazed by the sight.
His adoration from the scenery was suddenly interrupted when the older spoke from behind, "Liking the view?"
Taehyun turned his head to the boy who spoke and saw a victorious smirk plastered on his face. His eyes twitched from the irritating facial expression that the older made. He could just roll his eyes and avoided Beomgyu's irking gaze.
"Isn't it too hot to come here though? It's literally 12 in the afternoon." Squinting his eyes as the clouds made its way for the blinding sunlight to pass through, uncovering the too lively sun, he used his hands to block some of it, acting it like a hat.
Beomgyu started walking after locking the door and went towards the storage room at the side where the sunlight hit it on it's east, creating a big shade on the big block's west side.
"The shade exists for a reason", he sparingly said as he sat in the shade.
He looked at Taehyun and patted the cold floor, a sign for Taehyun to sit beside him. The seemingly lost kitten complied to Beomgyu's request and sat beside the older before uttering a word.
"Say.. Why sneaking at the rooftop out of all the things you've done? You went extreme with the fun thing already."
"Extreme? This is literally the first stage of breaking you free from your routine."
"Well, sorry. I thought we'll start from something mild", Taehyun retorted as he rolled his eyes.
"And your 'mild' probably means spitting in the hallway", an annoying response was received from the older.
"It's called 'mild' for a reason. What even is your definition of 'mild' to do something extreme?"
"This is my definition of 'mild' Taehyun. We just snuck out, we ain't skipping class yet. If you're looking for 'extreme', you have to wait for it."
"Oh I don't want to imagine your 'extreme' fun." Taehyun acted as he fakely shivered from the idea.
Beomgyu chuckled from the younger's action and responded, "The closer to danger the better, you know. What is deemed wrong feels right at times."
"If the school found out about this and told my parents, my dad would definitely kill me without hesitation."
Taehyun playfully glared at Beomgyu and pointed at him before continuing with his jutted lips, "and I am gonna blame you for that!"
Beomgyu released another chuckle and held the younger's hand and made it's pointing finger touch his chest, "Blame me for it. Throw me under the bus if that could save your ass", he said with a smirk on his face.
Taehyun released his hand from the older's grip and rested his back again against the wall. "I will absolutely throw you under the bus so make sure we won't get caught," he said.
