A guide on how to make a friend

Taehyun finally graduated from middle school and he was expecting to transfer back to his past school where he went to.

But some things really won't go the way you want it to be.

Their family business went bankrupt and they were forced to sell their one and only car. Because of this unfortunate event, he cannot transfer back to his past school, making him stuck in his current school.

'He could have been a scholar student so he can transfer back without any problem', Taehyun also thought about that but his family takes pride in being well-off, so they cannot stomach the idea of Taehyun having a free education.

His parents have this superiority complex, especially his dad. They look down on those who are less fortunate than them, calling them lazy people in the society that's why they remain at the bottom of the food chain. 

Now how the tables have turned. They're now one of those people they always insult.

He doesn't mind though, living in this kind of way. At least his parents don't need to bring him to school every day and that gave him a bit of sense of freedom.

They won't also get to monitor him every single time because they already sold their car. Knowing his parents, they hate walking so Taehyun knew they won't bother going to his school anymore even if it's only a walking distance from their home.

He at least gets to appreciate their town as he gets to walk through its street by street and that made the idea of being stuck in his current school bearable.

His first day in high school is about to start and reality is starting to sink in. He doesn't like this school at all. Those rowdy boys kept trying to make fun of him and most of the people in that school think that he's arrogant and a stuck-up brat like his parents.

Well of course, those people knew their family. They are well-known for having a perfect son and an unlikable attitude so they will just conclude that Taehyun acts the same as his parents. 

The only people who don't find that problematic are the people at his past elite school since they have the same level of wealth.

Although Taehyun was known as a nice kid in his past school, people in his current ones think it's only a façade and they were waiting for Taehyun to show his "true colors". Talking about inferiority complexes.

After walking for 15 minutes, he finally arrived at his school and entered the high school building. He searched for his classroom and sat at the front part of the room since he learned from his middle school years in HYBE, that the back seats were the seat for the rowdy boys.

As usual, Taehyun is too early so he took out his newly covered science book and read the first lesson so if ever their teacher would ask a random question, he can answer it immediately, and besides, he's bored.

He waited for many more minutes and the room started to get filled with students. The bell rang and all of them went down to the gym where their flag ceremony and the principal's welcome speech were held.

It was, of course, another boring speech so Taehyun didn't actually listen. He attended the student's orientation so he doesn't need to listen to the principal's nonsense blabber at 7 in the morning.

Finally, the boring speech ended and they can now go to their respective classrooms. When Taehyun entered the room, he saw one of their teachers, probably their adviser as he guessed, looking at the paper he was holding.

When all of the students were there, he told them to get their belongings so they could follow the sitting arrangement easily. He started from the back side of the room up until he reached the front rows.
