I bounced gently on the ball and blew out a deep breath, Justin rubbed my back as the twins slept on the small sofa in the hospital room. Ashley was on her way to pick them up so they could go to school. They had started Kindergarten a few months ago and they were totally loving it. Thankfully Oliver, Ashley and Chaz's son, was in the same class as them so we had planned this for Amelia's birth.

We had rushed in here at 1:00 AM after my water broke and it was now almost 8:00 AM. I had barely dilated 2 cm.

"They getting worse?" Justin asked me as I pressed the palms of my hands deep into my lower spine. He noticed and took over the massaging.

I nodded as I blew the air out of my lungs. The door creaked open and Ashley walked in. She was obviously exhausted but she smiled at me like she could pass any energy she had on to me.

"Go wake them up," I told Justin as the contraction ceased. She moved into the chair Justin was previously in and did what he had been doing. I smiled, "Thank you." I looked over to the twins and smiled to myself, "Im gonna have another one of those."

She moved around so that we could see each other but kept massaging my back, "You're lucky." She gave me a look of love, "I can't wait to have more."

I smiled, "You guys are trying?"

"No," She sighed and bit her cheek, "Chaz thinks its too soon. He wants to wait until Ollie is a little older."

I nodded and as I opened my mouth the talk another pain shot down and through my hips. She dressed harder, which helped a little. Justin finally had the kids awake and they were getting their sweaters on. When Braxton saw me in pain he rushed over and held my face like Justin did occasionally.

"Mommy, are you okay?" His face was full of concern.

I quickly nodded and gave him a smile, "Of course, baby. You go with Aunty Ashley to school, okay? I'll see you after."

He was unsure but eventually nodded and took a hand Ashley was offering. She placed her hand on Krystal's back and as she began leading them out, she turned back to give me a smile and mouthed, good luck.

And I was going to need it.

I had been in labour for 12 hours. It was almost 1:30 in the afternoon and I was getting ready to push.

Giving birth vaginally was nerve-wracking. I hadn't done it since Taylor so it was a bizarre feeling. I had my knees bent and my legs up. The only thing separating my vagina from the world was a thin sheet. Justin as holding my hand while I took deep breaths, trying to keep the pain at bay.

I had refused the epidural thinking I was strong enough to handle the pain, but I was wrong.

Meghan walked into the room and smiled at us like she was the most excited person in the room. She probably was.

"You ready to have a baby?" She was grinning from ear to ear and her blonde ponytail was hanging over her shoulder.

I nodded, "Please get her out."

"Well, you'll need to help me with that." She chuckled at her joke, "But I'll do what I can to help."

Justin kissed the hand he was holding and then pressed it to his cheek, "You can do it, hon."

I nodded and looked down at Meghan who had moved the sheet off my legs and was inspecting my cervix, "Well, if you want to push you can start. Next contraction, okay?"

Thankfully, it wasn't long and I was pushing. Everybody in the room was counting my pushing and, as annoying as it was, it helped distract me from the intense pain shooting up my spine.

I let out a deep breath and flung my head back.

Justin brushed my hair out of my eyes and kissed my sweaty forehead. I had only been resting for a few minutes when another contraction shot through my hips and I pushed again.

An hour later, I did the final push and then my body relaxed. Meghan was working to clear Amelia's airway while I took a short rest.

"Why isn't she crying?" I gasped, beginning to panic. None of my other babies had taken this long to cry, "Meghan, is she okay?"

She didn't reply to me and I saw her normally joyful face look almost distressed. I looked up to Justin, desperate to hear her cry, promising his God that I would cherish every sound she makes as long as she makes one.

Justin was starting to panic too. He moved from his spot beside me to look at the baby and I was jealous of his mobility. He had just opened his mouth to say something when a small squeak broke the tension in the room.

I relaxed and my head fell back as Amelia began to cry, louder and louder. Tears began to fall down my cheeks and Justin watched in fascination as Meghan clamped the umbilical cord then instructed him where to cut. After that, she placed Amelia on my chest and we both cried together.

When Ashley walked into the hospital room, I had barely started to relax. The twins were both sheepish walking up to me and once they realized the baby wasn't on my bed, they both climbed up. Braxton was giving me a hug first then shuffling off to see his new sister while Krystal stayed close to my side, watching from afar, not quite sure if she was ready for a new family member.

"Is she sleeping?" Braxton asked Justin who was holding the new baby.

Justin nodded and smiled down the Brax, "Do you want to hold him?" At first, he was hesitant but eventually he nodded and slid himself onto the couch beside his father. Justin instructed him on how to use his arms to stabilize her head and neck and then slowly settled Amelia into Braxton's arms.

The weight made him lower her to his lap but the smile on his face was something I would remember forever.

As I sat back with Krystal and admired our growing family, I couldn't have been happier with my life and I couldn't wait to see what our futures held.
