JUSTIN
I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes as Scooter tried to explain again that I had to go out with Remi. Both of our labels thought it would be a good idea to show that we were friends before we release our single. If we didn't, they weren't sure it would do well considering I was making a comeback and she was a new artist.
"What are our choices?" I asked and glanced over at Remi who seemed more than excited to spend and entire afternoon with me.
"You can go bowling or something like that. Problem there is that you could get mobbed. People know we are making music again and your fans are still dedicated." I didn't like that idea much, "Option 2, you can go to dinner. Something fancy, not Denny's or White Spot. Your problem," He looked at me, "You're married. If people think its romantic in any way that could end up badly for all of us." Finally he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, "Third and probably best option, go to a club as friends. Dance with random people. Talk about your music, make sure you leave an impression."
Remi shook her head in confusion, "If you don't want us to hang out at the club then how is that promoting us as a duo?" I hadn't thought about that until the words left her mouth.
"You'll get there together and you'll leave together." This time it was Remi's manager who spoke. I still didn't know her name and if I did before, I hadn't remembered it.
"What if I have to leave before she does?" I asked and felt all eyes turn to me with glares.
She scoffed, "You wont. You go together and you leave together. That's the deal." I could feel the amplitude of the decision but reluctantly nodded in agreement, allowing everybody to get us ready for the night out.

When we climbed out of our car, there was cameras in our face. Not many, but enough for others to notice. I knew they had been hired by our managers because they weren't in our faces and were clearing a large path to the front doors of the club. The music was obnoxiously loud and I could smell sweaty bodies before we were even in the doors.
Remi linked her arm with mine and led me through the doors and into the bowels of the dance floor. Somehow, she had acquired two drinks, handing me one and drinking hers in no more than 5 seconds. She laughed in my face and I could smell gin on her breath.
She spent the next two hours grinding between me and a few other 'lucky' guys and by the time midnight came around she was sloppy drunk. She was stumbling over her own feet and holding tightly onto me for support. If I moved too quickly she would stumble and grab onto the nearest body, earning us glares and offensive name calling. Each time she'd laugh like it was nothing but I was tired and not in the mood for her sloppiness
"I wanna go," I shouted at her. Even then, I wasnt sure she heard me because she kept trying to dance, "Remi, I'm leaving." I moved to walk away from her and she pulled me back to her.
"No," She whined, "You cant go." Then she lifted my hand up to her face and ran her fingers between mine. I watched her in awe as she moved my hand to her mouth then slid two of my fingers into her mouth.
I pulled them out fast and glared at her, "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
She seemed to get sober fast after that. Her glazed eyes returned the glare and she shrugged, "Why don't we find out?" She took another step towards me and reached to touch the inside of my thigh.
Another long step away from her and I shook my head, "I'll see you at work." I turned and left her there in the middle of the drunken crowd. Nobody noticed me pushing past them and they all fell out of my way so I could get outside. Once I felt the cool breeze I took a deep breath and felt someone grab my wrist. I was ripped around to see Remis face, bright red and pouty.
"We have to leave together." Her voice was still slurring but I could tell now that she had been acting up how drunk she was. She was still sober enough to know her actions, "My manager will fire you if we don't."
I rolled my eyes, "It's my song, Remi." She hadn't thought of that and her face fell, "I'm going home now. I can take you if you'd like."
"You going home to your wife?" The way the words came out of her mouth made it sound like I was doing something dirty, "When are you going to stop playing house?"
"Playing house?" She was irritating me.
I shook my head and scoffed, "You know what, Remi, I'm not doing this with you. Go home. You're drunk." She was watching me closely and it made me uncomfortable, "I'll see you tomorrow."
I turned to leave and her her laugh, "That's it?" I slowly turned to her and saw she was holding something between her thumb and pointer finger, "You didn't even notice it was gone. How would your wife feel about that?"
I felt the emptiness on my finger as realization set in. I took a large step towards her and held out my hand, "That's not funny." She smiled, "Give me my wedding ring."
She licked her lips and gently chewed on her bottom one before pouting them out and smiling even wider, "Only if you kiss me."
The thought made me uncomfortable and her sinister smile was making me queasy, "You're kidding."
She gently shook her head and closed the gap between us, pressing her chest against mine, "Kiss me, Justin Bieber, or no ring for you."
Before she could react I ducked my head to her level and pressed my mouth to hers. I felt her mouth tighten before relaxing and her tongue shot into my mouth. I didn't pull away, because as much as it felt wrong and tasted like alcohol, it sent butterflies through my body and made my hair stand on its end. While she was still busy locking her lips with mine I snatched the ring from her hand then pulled away.
She was breathless and watching me with wild eyes. She hadnt expected me to actually do it. I shook my head and sighed, "Thanks for the ring." Then as I turned to get into the cab I had called I wiped my hand across my mouth, "I'll see you Wednesday."
