Opportunities come and go, But life don't slow,
We often mistake them, Or wonder "Where did the time go?"
All the things we've been afforded, And others that we have missed,
The times we gave in, And others we'd resist,
We don't always see the effect our decisions have, On those we hold dear,
How much they want us to succeed, In our failures they fear,
Seldom are we given another try,
Left perplexed, we often ask "Why?"
But it may just appear, or be created all on your own,
Or be granted by grace through people that you've know
It's still upon you to seize that day,
To figure out how and find a way,
For some they may do nothing or idly stand by,
While others may capture it in the blink of an eye,
A last chance at Love with a family and wife,
Or things that we worked for and wanted in life,
So be mindful and anticipate, for chances come and go so fast,
And you'll never know which one will turn out to be your last!
