Suicide is a thought that has been ever present in my mind,
One that Ive come to dwell upon and think about from time to time
When life as been rough on me and beaten me down,
Or Ive been left all alone in life witout anyone around
Its hard to accept te fact that life just isnt fair,
And to remember though there not always around those people still love you and care
Its not the thought of dying, that helps me often to resist,
Its thinking, of how my family, my kids will mourn me, and how much I will be missed
What if one of them couldnt handle it and decided to follow in my wake,
Even though id be in the afterlife my heart would soon then break
It seems such a cowardly and selfish act, you free yourself while enslaving others,
Friends and Family, Children and Spouses, you Fathers and even your Mothers
So when that thought again arises and suicide is in my head,
Ill think of all their sufferings and ill quickly put the thouht to bed
Suicide is a thought that has been ever present in my mind,
But I will not let it have control over me, for Strength and Courage is what I find
Even bein as broken as me in my Suicidal State of Mind!
