Running In Circles

Life is but a race, To which the world is the course

We run the track day after day without exception, by consciousness were forced

The Obstacles we face are by way of change, or new addition

Just one thing wrong can throw you off, Cause we so rely on repetition

The race is exhaustive and it may cause us to, Tire down as we ware and get worn,

And doubly so as our families grow, Parenting successors that to us are born

The experiences you have are priceless, You use it to teach and learn your team

Showing them how to do things, And teaching them of all you know and have seen

Others judge us by our accomplishments, What we have and what were worth.

It seems as though its been this way, Ever since our birth.

The only judgement that matters Is the one given from the top

The one given to you at the end after the checkered flag goes to drop

Your tickets stamped awaiting the train the last ride you'll ever take

Will it be torment and pain or peaceful bliss it seems it's gods choice to make

So let the goodness show, and you go slow dont boast or begin to brag

Finish strong dont take to long dont fall or begin to lag

Lifes got you running in circles, round and round in a figure 8

But dont lose sight as others might repent now before it's too late
