Time, what is Time
But an illusion of the mind
Something you can't get back
And can hardly ever find
Though its often overlooked
Left unnoticed and neglected
It continues to run its own marathon
Seemingly uneffected
Some may see it speed past them so quickly
That their unable to capture the day
One may engage the chase and begin to race
But for a victory they could have even if they may
For it could never be tasted,
heard, smelt nor physically felt
It can heal your heart and or your mind
Turning cuts and gashed to scars so fine they welt
Though its not made of Jewels nor Gems
Its pecious and it's value is immeasurable
Dont spend it in haste, nor in waste
For spent wisely it's considered Treasurable
To each individual it differs, it's unique
As to how it's perceived and how it's presented
While some will treat it as if it belonged to them
Others will treat it as if it was rented
When your time runs out and your left without
You may be left wishing or begging for more
If you have regrets fix them now and have no more
For time like life you know not whats in store
You could live another 30 years and yet 10 more
Noone know exactly when the reaper
will come knocking at their door
It's a race against fate,
a race against time
As for me ill set the pace for the race
because my lifea race is all mine
And ill enjoy every second
because all I have is time
