My mother, my miracle,
My nurturer,my carer,
That carried me 9 months,
Then brought me to bearThat loved me whole hearted,
And completely,
You were my protector,
You never let anyone mistreat meYou taught me to be humble, Honest, truthful and caring,
Only when you'd turn your back, Would i be careless and daringYou taught me all things,
Both good and bad,
And if I did something wrong,
You wouldn't get mad,
The toughest job is what you had,
You were a single mom,
That also played dadWhenever I had a question for you,
You had an answer for me,
Your word was golden,
But it came for free,
You never told lies,
Only truths to be,
You watered my mind,
And it sprouted a treeAll the knowledge you shared,
Wes fuel for my mind,
You sculpted the person,
Ill come to be with timeYou cradled me in high school, Because i was still your baby,
And when I was in trouble,
you always ran to save meYou carried me through college, When things got too rough,
And you were there at graduation, Thank you would never be enoughCrazy to think,
That im full grown,
I got my own place,
I don't wander or roamI've got a family,
My roots are sewn,
But I still call my mother,
when I need to go homeHer doors always open,
It forever will be
I knock on the door, " who is it? "
" Hey mom it's me! "
