Growing up you invision
what life will come to be
These thoughts are often shaped
by our views of society
Our own perception
of what our eyes do see
Morals and Values
passed on down the line
And personal experiences
Accrued through time
The situations we encounter and in which way
Boldly take hold and they mold us like clay
Not only shaping the future
but also carving out the day
Paving the path
And setting us on our way
Obsticles will appear
That will cause us such strife
But thats just A part
Of everyday life
Hard work and dedication
Now that is the key
To becoming the person
That you want to be
To turning your dreams
Into A reality
Its anything but easy
but the journey is oh so fun
To be able to take a look back
And see all that you have done
To watch your children mature
Into women and men
And to have spent your life with a husband or wife
Thats both your Lover and Friend
And though nothing in life is set in stone
There is No guarantee
I'll enjoy everyday for what will be will be
Because it's all just a part of shaping me
