Ophelia's POV

"Ophelia!" I heard as I entered the little deli shop to meet up with Tomi for lunch before my late Thursday class.  "Thanks for finally getting back with me.  I've been dying for details!"  She said, as I walked up to her and took a seat.

"What details?" I asked.

"Don't give me that crap!  I know you've seen Niall every day since Saturday.  And I haven't heard from you.  And Mully say's he's been in an exceptionally good mood."

"First off, I haven't seen him every day. I haven't seen him since Tuesday. And, second, he's been in an exceptionally good mood?" I asked, huge smile coming onto my face.

"Like the smile on your face has gone away?"

"No, it hasn't.  I like him, Tomi.  I really like him."

I started looking over the menu.

"Soooo, tell me, has he kissed you yet?  Have you done anything else yet?  Where has he taken you?  I wanna know it all."

"Why are you so curious?  Shouldn't you be telling me what you and Mully have been doing the past several days?"

"Having sex.  Your turn."

I just stared at her.  I loved her to death but sometimes her bluntness threw me off guard.

"Have you called Jeremy?" I asked.

"Yes, I did.  I told him I just didn't think he was what I was looking for."

"Tell him about Mully?"

"No, I figured he didn't need to know that."

I sighed. "So you two have had sex?"

"Yes.  I've seen him three times since Saturday and all three times we ended up back at my place.  You don't think it's too soon, do you?"

"No.  Everyone goes at their own pace.  I see nothing wrong with it.  At least one of us is."

"No luck with Niall yet?  What all has gone on between you two if you've seen him three more times since Saturday?"

"He took me to this little food truck haven when we got out of work the other night.  It was super cute and oddly, cozy.  Sunday night he took me to dinner, nothing fancy.  And the past couple of nights he's hung out at my apartment watching movies while I did some school work."

"Okay, that's boring as fuck but somehow also very cute.  Has he kissed you yet?"

"Yes, Tomi, we have kissed.  In fact, I kissed him first."

"No way!"

"Yes way!"  I laughed.  "Why is that surprising?"

She shrugged.  "I don't know.  I guess it's not, but just knowing how you've been the last few months.  Which I get, so I guess I don't see you making that first step, I guess.  I don't know where I'm going with this."  She laughed a little and went back to looking at the menu.

A couple of minutes later, the server took our order.

"I told him."

Tomi looked up from her phone.  "You did?"

"Yeah.  He, uh, asked why I kept getting so weird.  And, I don't know, something about the way he was when he asked that question; the way he looked.  He wasn't looking at me but looking in front of him but his eyes looked like they were somewhere else entirely.  Just, something told me I needed to be honest with him.  Like I said, I like him.  I really do.  He's sweet, thoughtful, attentive.  I mean, how many other guys would get terrified thinking he was the reason I was uncomfortable?"
