"Ophelia!" I heard Tomi's voice but I kept on walking.  "Ophelia!  Stop!  Where are you going?"

"Home," I said, although I doubt she heard me. I was still trying to hold back the tears, but was quickly losing the battle.

"Would you stop, I can't run in these fucking heels!"

I kept walking. I didn't have any of my belongings with me, so I couldn't call an Uber or cab or Lyft or anyone else. But I couldn't go back for them.

Tomi managed to catch up to me and grabbed my arm, spinning me around.

As soon as she saw my face, she pulled me into a hug.  Letting me go, she stepped back and held onto my arms.  "What's wrong?  What happened?"  She looked at my hands and heard the way I was breathing.  "You're shaking.  Shit, Ophelia, sit down for a minute, please.  What happened?"

"He's...."  My voice was shaking.  "He's still seeing her!"

"What?" She looked at me confused.

"Niall. He's still seeing Maggie. He's still fucking her. He sent her this video of the two of them having sex on the same bed that I.....I'm gonna be sick."

I got out of her grasp and turned to the sidewalk, throwing up everything I had just consumed in the last hour or two.  Tomi rubbed my back, and held both my hair and the bottom of my dress until I finished.

"Tomi," I whispered, trying not to cry but choking on the tears anyway.

Helping me back to my feet and pushing me down onto the wall of the walkway, she asked, "Are you sure?"

"It looked pretty fucking real."

"There are lots of fake apps out there, Ophelia. C'mon, Niall wouldn't do that."

"Wouldn't he?" I said, bringing my head up to face her. "We don't know him, Tomi. We don't know what he would and would not do."

"Honey, we do know him. You know him."

"No, Tomi, I don't. Because if I did, I wouldn't be standing here right now. I either wouldn't be here at all because that's exactly the type of guy he is or I would be in there not believing a single fucking word out of her mouth because he would've warned me and told me about her. But he didn't do that, now did he?!"I was yelling so loudly at this point that people were beginning to stare. Calming down slightly, because I was already humiliated enough at this stupid wedding, I said more quietly, "And even still, even if I didn't have a video running through my head right now, I didn't hallucinate them kissing."

"What?"

"I saw him. I just fucking saw him kissing her. That I know wasn't fucking fake."

"What?"

"I just saw him kiss her!"

I was choking on my words, on my breath. I could not fucking breathe. The air was not getting to my lungs. I wanted to drive a hole into my throat just so I could fucking breathe.

"He fucking kissed her, Tomi. So, even if the texts were fake, the video sure as shit wasn't because his face was in full view of the camera. And I saw him kiss her as I left the goddamn bathroom!"

"Are you sure it was him?"

"Yes!" I screamed.  "I fucking saw him kiss her with my own two fucking eyes, Tomi! He fucking kissed her! I didn't fucking dream that shit! Trust me, I wish I had."

Tomi stepped back, shocked by my outburst.  "Okay, calm down, sweetie."

I had bent down, my hands on my knees, my stomach retching. Sobbing, I looked up at her. "Tomi...please tell me I was dreaming. Please tell me I was dreaming?"

Tomi just stood there, unable to answer me.

"You don't have any of your things. Let me go get them and my stuff and we'll get you home.  Okay?" I nodded. "You're going to sit right here and stay here until I get back?" I nodded, again.  She bent down and gave me a hug. "I'm so sorry, sweetie."

She stood back up and walked back towards the reception.
