Ashley.

The thing about Justin is, he won't ask you why and how on earth are you crying. He'll just hold you in his arms and continue to listen to you, letting your heart out. He'll wait until you're ready to say something.

I cried for what felt like hours until I ran out of tears to shed and my throat started to become hoarse and parched.

We were now sitted on Justin's car, without somewhere to go to. No one dared to say a single word. We were just there, sitting in an uncomfortable and eerie silence.

Without breaking the silence, Justin drove, possible somewhere in mind. I looked at him but he seems too focused on the road. I just went with it because it's not like I can complain, I don't want to go home. Might as well go wherever Justin is taking me.

After minutes, maybe 20 or so, we arrived at the place I least expected him to take me.

I looked at him and he just shrugged and smiled sheepishly.

"I could still remember, back when we were still kids, you used to love the park because you told me how much you like grassy fields and swing sets. Technically, we are not at the park, considering it's night time and you can't enjoy it. But this is the closest place to a park. I hope you like amusement parks?" I lunged myself to him, giving him a bone crushing hug. He most definetly know me that well.

He chuckled at my actions and pulled away moments later, stepping out of the car and opened the door for me. Chivalry is definetly not dead.

We went in the amusement park, not many people are here considering it is already 10 in the evening and it is tuesday afterall. Did I really sob that hard? More importantly, did Justin rent this park for us?

I figured I will let the questions slide for now and have fun.

We rode almost all the rides and ate cotton candy, hotdogs, and much more. Justin was just going with what I am doing. He is not complaining either, and I am grateful for that.

"Thank you for this, Justin. I really appreciate this. I needed this, actually. After all I am going through, with the Tyler thing. I am glad that you get what I am going through and not complain about it. Thank you, Justin." I hugged him and without hesitation, he hugged back.

We stayed like that, his head resting on top of mine, for a couple of minutes. Suddenly, he pulled away, looking weird, he wasn't calm like what he was moments ago. He looks frantic, it's as if he want to tell me something or he is waiting for someone.

The next thing he did really surprised me. He took a long deep sigh and said,

"Ash, you've been my best friend since we were little. Of course, I'd do anything to make you happy. What I did in the past, I regretted it big time. As much as I want to see you smile, I want the reason to be because of me. I know you are going through a tough time, you can give me your answer when you are ready. Ashley Jane Monroe, will you take the honor of being my girlfriend?"
