Ashley.
3 weeks have passed since that incident and I haven't heard from that number since then. It's not like I'm worried something happened because if it's important, the person will call constantly, right? And to top it all off, that was the only message the person sent me. How weird.
I was so lost in my thoughts when all of a sudden there was a commotion beside me. That's right because noise is far too mainstream.
And what could be the cause of it, you may ask?
Tyler McDonough switched seats with a smart person beside me. He was my ticket to graduation, damn it. Great. Now I have to sit with this moron of a greek god every english class. I don't even know if he's smart and I don't care, it's not like I'm going to speak to him or anything.
This is why he was looking at me strangely that day when I was humiliated? Wow, okay. But what the hell would a notorious bad boy want to be in an english class? Because he wants to graduate that's why. Geez, Ash.
"Sup, Monroe?" I didn't even bother to look at him. I was not in the mood for talks and his existence was annoying the hell out of me.
Poke.
What the hell?
Poke. Poke.
The poking continued. I just scoffed and ignored him. Like I said, I was not in the mood nor interested in his business, whatever it may be.
"Monroe? Why aren't you talking to me?" I just stared at him and rolled my eyes. That's right, Ash. I don't owe any explanation to him because honestly, I don't know why I wasn't speaking to him. Oh, okay. He was annoying and he took a way my chance in graduation. That's why.
"Ms. Monroe! Mr. McDonough! Can you save the flirting for later? I'm trying to teach a class here if you may have noticed before you two lamely interrupted. Listen or else I'll send both of you in detention." Ms. Mendez's British accent erupted causing the whole class to stare at both of us. My face turned a shade of deep red while I know Tyler was smirking. He so loved the attention.
I was slack-jawed. I wasn't even talking. Hell, I was even paying attention but thanks to the fuss created by this twat beside me, I was threatened to get sent to detention.
Okay maybe not purely listening because English is really not my cup of tea.
We both nodded and Ms. Mendez resumed on teaching things uninteresting enough.
"I'm so sorry, Monroe. To make it up to you, I'll treat you lunch." I just stared at him. Unable to mumble some words. Hey, it's not everyday an asshole apologizes and treats you lunch. I was shocked. Maybe he was just being nice, that's all.
"Uh, y-yeah. O-okay. Whatever." I didn't know what to say. That was the first thought in my head so I went for it.
Since when did I stutter in front of a boy? This is real bad.
Why did I even agree? for all I know, I'm creating a headline at TMZ. I'm that famous, don't judge.
So cockiness is the answer to this, Ash. Great.
Okay, I'm elaborating more, but I don't care. I don't have feelings for Tyler, except anger but why did it happen?
I shook my head and just went with it.
I hope to not make a fool out of myself.
Yeah, goodluck with that Ash.
