Chapter 39 - Never Let You Go

I got home from the talk Tyler and I had moments ago. As I opened the front door, I was greeted by a Justin, sprawled in the living room, watching Family Guy. I smiled at how focus he is on the tv. He hasn't even noticed I entered. I walked towards the couch and hugged him from behind.

"Hey baby. When did you arrive?" He says, standing up and hugging me properly. He is taller than me so he had an advantage.

"Just seconds ago. Where's mom?" I asked, looking around. She is nowhere to be seen. She probably is in her bedroom, doing, I don't really know what she does or maybe she's at Justin's.

"She's with my mom, planning our wedding." He said in a serious voice. My eyes widened at what he said and immediately, he started laughing so hard. "Oh my god, you should've seen your face."  He muttered still laughing. I rolled my eyes at his actions and pretended I was mad at him, you know, just to get even.

I walked out and went straight to my room ignoring Justin's attempts in getting my attention. I locked the door so he couldn't get in as I change. I hurriedly did it, knowing he was stealthy. He managed to unlocked the door and I didn't acknowledge him.

"Hey, I'm sorry for what I did? I don't know what I did, honestly. Was it something I said? I don't get why are you mad at me." He looked like a lost puppy. I almost gave in but I stopped myself.

I just sat on my bed and pretended to scrolling through my instagram. He sat beside me and grabbed my phone.

"Hey. That's mine." I told you he was stealthy. He stood up and waved the phone over his head to mock me.

"What were you doing, anywa- oh." Then something caused him to laugh in histerics again. What was I doing? As soon as I realized what I had been doing, my cheeks burned. I am pretty sure it was now red.

"You were stalking my instagram? Babe, I'm in front of you, why would you stalk my instagram?" He asks, clearly amused at what he discovered. Well, I get to see you shirtless there that's why. I said to myself.

"What did you say?" I said that out loud? Great, more embarrassment.

"I said nothing. Now, can you hand me my phone back, please?" I did the best puppy dog eyes that I could but he wouldn't budge.

"I'll give it you if-" then we both hear his phone ring. With my phone on one hand and his on the other, he managed to answer the call.

"Emergency? So, it's important? Okay, okay. I'll be there, 30 minutes tops. Wait, can I bring Ash? Oh, okay. See you." That was all that I heard. I immediately panicked upom hearing the word emergency. I knew something was up.

"What's wrong? I heard there was an emergency. Is everything all right?" I was beyond worried.

"Turns out, I have to be back in LA tomorrow because there's something I need to settle. Scooter won't tell me what it is, hell, he told me that I couldn't bring you too." What was this emergency? Why do I feel like something bad happened?

"I understand. You haven't unpacked, right? We can just go to your house, inform your mom, grand parents and my mom, and we'll take you to the airport." He nodded as we proceeded to their home.

We were on our way to the airport, Pattie driving. Me and Justin were at the backseat together and I could tell he was nervous. He was clutching my hand really hard. We got to the airport and bid goodbye to Justin. Kenny was waiting for him in the receiving area. He hugged my mom then his mom, then I was the last.

"I am sure everything will be alright. Don't worry too much, okay? I'll see you as soon as I finish this matter. I love you." He buried his face on my hair then kissed my forehead.

I saw his figure retreat.

I never wanted to let him go. I wanted him to stay. But maybe, it is for the best, right?

or it isn't.

Hello. Again I would like to apologize for not updating last week not because I don't have time, but because I had writer's block. I am truly sorry.

What was the emergency? Why was it really urgent? Hmmmm.

We are getting nearer to the end. Only 6 chapters left and an epilogue, but don't you worry. Within those 6 chapters, a lot will still be going on :)
