Chapter 25 - Rollercoaster

It has been a good two weeks since Tyler and I started dating. He's been fetching me at home every morning so that we'll arrive at school together. When we first got to school together, I admit there were a couple, okay a lot of murmurs we can hear saying this and that, asking questions like are we dating or not.

I was not embarassed but I didn't want to be talk of the campus because who knows what will happen to me. While I was flustered, Tyler just shot them a smile and weaved his fingers through mine and walked carefree through the hallways, greeting people like he always does. He wasn't cocky, he is just that popular because he is after all quarterback of the Westville High Sharks.

"So you both are finally together, eh?" Daniel, a friend of Tyler and also a football player, asked with a smirk plastered smugly on his face.

"You jealous, bro?" Tyler asked, now it was his time to smirk. Daniel just rolled his eyes and sat down behind Tyler.

It was now 7:45, 15 minutes from now physics class will start. But ofcourse, knowing Mr. Drummon, he will always be late.

"How's it like dating Mr. Quarterback over there?" Candice pointing at Tyler who was busy talking about who knows what to his friends. Expect her to ask a ton of questions because she really wants every detail extracted as possible.

"You know, just the normal girlfriend - boyfriend type of relationship." I said to her smiling like an idiot. I am such a weird person.

"Have you gotten any death threats yet?" I almost choked on my own saliva. What kind of question is this? Candice was looking at me seriously like she was saying it as a matter-of-factly.

"What?! It's not like I'm dating Justin Bieber or Theo James, you know? Why am I going to get death threats?" She was now laughing at my reaction. So she finds embarassed me so amusing.

"Of all the guys you could mention, why Theo James?" She wiggled her eyebrows teasingly. I then gasped saying,

"Because he is sooooooo hot." I dragged the so part and said it like I was a barbie. But I was far from that and I failed drastically.

She laughed so much at my attempt to be a common white girl. We continued to laugh out our miseries, I mean my misery, when all of a sudden Mr. Drummon entered, as usual, late.

"Settle down. Open your books to page 14 and we'll discuss about Energy." Everyone did as we were told and listened intently to what he was saying.

I glanced at Tyler and saw he was staring at me. When he caught me, he winked causing me to roll my eyes and look away, as my cheeks start to burn up.

I continued to listen, partially because my mind is kind of drifted to somewhere, to what Mr. Drummon has been saying but eventually I got bored and pulled out my phone.

I checked the twitter app and a trending topic caught my eye.

What happened to Justin?

I checked the tweets and there were over a million and a half who tweeted about this topic. Most of the tweets were pure accusations, hate, beliebers defending Justin, more and more hate.

There were pictures of Justin in a bar, drunk as he was, where he flicked a middle finger to a paparazzi, where he drove not within speed limit, and much more.

There was even an article about it on a certain gossip website. I opened it and read further. It was explained in the article that Justin, was caught by paparazzi leaving an A-list bar, with his friends, drunk as hell. He shouted things to the paparazzi like they were not going to get him good and showed his middle finger to them.

This wasn't the usual him. He was not like this. He was always that guy who makes things possible for people to be happy and not the other way around.

I know I shouldn't believe these kind of stuff, but this seems true.

Since when did Justin's life became such a rollercoaster?
